1 It's her

It's past lunch time, I hear my stomach growling while I took another sip of my tea. My patience level is getting lower as the minutes passed.

"How long exactly do we have to wait?" I stared at my best friend Chris who is happily daydreaming.

"Just a while more Jon. Girls need more time. Aren't you used to waiting?" Chris smiled, I'm creeped out by his smile.

"I do NOT wait for girls. They eagerly come to me, get your facts right." I took the last sip of tea right after I finished my sentence.

I'm Jonathan Lee, 20 years old currently a degree in computing student. I do not have much hobbies other than gaming, sports and hanging out with girls. I am the No. 1 popular guy from the computing faculty who have endless of girlfriends. Of course, I'm not serious about any of them, just to kill some time.

My best friend, Christopher Chong on the other hand is the total opposite of me. He is not a sport guy and he is unpopular with girls. Basically, he is what girls would say as the "uncle type" of guys, guys who will be loyal and safe to be with. We have been best friends since high school and decided to further our studies in the same university. He is in the business faculty where it is over populated, it's a no wonder he don't stand out. Chris has never been interested in girls, nor does he have any girls following him.

Earlier in the morning Chris just dragged me out to accompany him. This is the first time he asked a girl out and she agrees to hangout but as a group. I've heard that he asked the girl many times before she agreed making me wonder what kind of girl can she be.

I stood up and left the seat.

"Where are you going?" Chris asked

"To smoke."

I stepped out of the cafe and sat at the table with ashtray, popping a cigarette into my mouth. I looked at the chats on my WhatsApp thinking which girl should I sleep with later. Just as I was done smoking, I saw her. I couldn't take my eyes off of her.

"It's her." I smiled and said to myself. "I finally got to see you again."

I walked back into the cafe and sat back at my seat to see her walking towards me. The next moment I knew, she sat down opposite of me. My jaw dropped, why is she sitting at the same table?

"Psst. Stop staring like that. It's her." Chris whispered into my ears.

"What!? Are you kidding me?" I was in shocked. She is the one that caught my attention and I haven't been able to find. A girl like her accepted my best friend's request to hangout?

"Hi. This is my friend Jon." Chris smiled like an idiot while introducing me

"Hi, I'm Joelle. Nice to meet you." Her smile pierced through my heart. I was left speechless but was shortly brought back to reality when her friend leaned forward to me.

"Hi Jon~ I'm Stacy. I've heard about you, "'IT Prince'~. It's a pleasure to be able to meet you." Stacy wore a low cut shirt and with her leaning forward, her chest was in full view.

"Uh.. nice to meet you..."

I knew at that very moment she's gonna be my next fling but aside from that, the girl, Joelle, she right in front of me. I've finally found you...as my best friend's crush.
