15 15. FLASHBACK 2

"Let's meet again Taner". He said

"Okay, I'll just tell my mom, but where should we meet?"

"It's a surprise".

"I love surprises". She grinned happily, due to her excitement she pecked him. Jiseok face immediately showed different shades of red.

"Taner!! My baby I'm so so sorry, mummy got held up in work and the traffic was terrible, I promise next time I'll take you to the mall". Ji-woo ran quickly to Taner hugging her. "Are you hungry? Let's go get you something to eat"..

" Mom I'm not hungry, my new friend Seok Seok gave me Hotteok, juice and ice cream, he said let's meet next week and he has a surprise for me too". Taner said happily showing Jiseok to her mom.

Ji-woo finally noticed the young boy sitting beside her daughter.

"I'm sorry, I didn't see you, I was so worried about my daughter, Thanks a lot for looking after her, here's my number if you want to talk with Taner, do you have someone to pick you up?". She smiled giving him a piece of paper with her phone number.

"Yes, they will be here soon".

"Okay I'll wait with you here until they come, it's the least I can do".

"Don't worry ma, you don't have to stay here with me". Jiseok tried to refuse. He doesn't want them to know his real identity.

"It's not a big deal besides you will be bored and lonely, we'll keep you company". Jiwoo replied.

"Yes Seok Seok, since you stayed with me Taner won't leave you too until your momma comes too". She said cutely rubbing her eyes as she was already feeling sleepy. Hearing what she said, he smiled sadly.

"My mom is dead". He said expressionless quickly hiding his emotions.

"I'm sorry to hear that". Jiseok sympathize with him. She assumed since his mom was dead then his dad would probably pick him up.

"Seok Seok, my momma can be your momma too, don't be sad". She said innocently smiling brightly at him. He felt touched hearing that, it's been a while since somebody actually cared about his feelings that he became numb.

"Thanks Xiao Tan". He smiled genuinely rubbing her hair.

"We will wait here with you". Ji-woo said determined.

'the problem is I don't want you to know who I really am', Jiseok thought to himself. He tried to persuade her to go but to know avail so he gave up.

"Are you hungry Jiseok?" Ji-woo asked .

"no ma, I already ate".

Ten minutes later, a group of people sighted Jiseok and were so relieve. Jiseok saw them before they could reach him.

"Please excuse me, I want to use the toilet". Jiseok stood up. Ji-woo nodded unaware of what is really happening. Jiseok swiftly left. Immediately, the group of people ran after him scared that he would disappear again.

"Young master!!" they stopped running trying to catch their breathe. The kid was damn fast. He ran away for one whole week and has been missing ever since. They had to undergo different kind of torment and we're so glad to have found him. No way where they letting him out of their sight.

Before Jiseok could run pass a bending corner three bodyguards blocked his front. He turned to pass the back, but it was also blocked, he looked at both sides but it was also blocked too.

"Young master please come with us peacefully, master Kim is worried". The head of the guard said walking towards him.

"Tell your master Kim he can Go TO HELL!!!! I don't care, worry my foot!!!". Jiseok screamed and spat on the floor disgusted.

"Young master if you refuse we have no choice but to use force on you". The head of the guard replied holding his hands. The other guards quickly got on alert and surrounded him, ready for battle.

"I command you to let me go immediately!" he screamed coldly, also taking his stance to fight.

"I'm sorry but we can't follow this order, please think about second young master". The guard replied, holding his hands behind him and dragging him.

Jiseok suddenly stopped struggling and became calm, allowing them to take him away peacefully. He remembered Taner and her mother where still waiting for him,

"Okay I'll go with you but first I have to settle an important matter". The guards looked at each other and looked at him suspiciously. He ignored them freeing his hands from the guards grasp.

He walked to one of the maid, "You follow me, the rest of you wait for me in the car". He walked in front with one maid following him closely not understand the situation.

A guard moved forward and blocked his way.

"Step back, I assure you I won't run away again". Jiseok said staring angrily at him.

"Step back while I'm being nice". He said coldly releasing his murderous aura. The guard trembled and obeyed, letting Jiseok pass with the maid following closely behind him. Forget he was just a child, he was powerful and a very good fighter for someone his age. He was even on par with the head guard.

"We thought we lost you there", Jiwoo said smiling when she saw him coming back.

"Sorry for the delay, by the way this is my….nanny". he introduced, using his eyes to warn the maid secretly.

The maid looked at him confused but decided to stay silent, scared that she will lose her job if she doesn't cooperate.

"Oh that's a relief, I'm Ji-woo". She smiled and greeted the maid.

"I'm….Ae-ri". The maid replied timidly.

"I guess we will leave now Taner is already tired, take care of yourself we will see you next week and thanks again". Jiwoo said smiling at Jiseok.

"Oh, here's my number, if you want to talk to Taner". She got up carrying Taner.

"Bye Seok Seok, see you next week call me when you get home!" Taner waved enthusiastically before resting her head on her mother shoulder and sleeping. He watched them go for a while with a smile on his face. Once they were out of sight, his face became cold and emotionless, changing to a completely different person. He turned back walking towards the car. The maid quickly ran behind him, shocked to see the young master smiling for the first time after his mother's death.

He silently entered the car. The guards were all relieved that he didn't fool them this time. They quickly entered the cars and drove off.
