2 In the new world
Locke had arrived in a vast forest and immediately bumped his head on a tree as he forgot he wasn't human anymore. Unfortunately for him, he had alerted some creatures in the forest who thought he would be a delicious meal. He sat up and began flexing his wings and tail to get used to the feeling of moving them, he also paced himself so he wouldn't fall over. There was a pond nearby where he saw his reflection, it was that of a miniature red dragon with scales covering him entirely. He then though of the system which the old man gave him. It immediately popped up in his mind and showed him basic info about himself.

'It looks like I'm quite weak at the moment.' I will have to search for food right now and make sure I stay alive. As he was about to turn around and head towards somewhere where he might find food, he was ambushed by a goblin. The goblin which had attacked Locke was completely green and covered in filth, it's body was covered with lumps and its mouth was salivating. The goblin had a sinister look in its eyes, its only thought was to make the red dragon into food.
Locke had lived the attack, but he lost 4 hp which was a considerable amount at the moment. He felt an extreme amount of pain on his back as the goblin had ripped through his flesh and scales and caused severe damage. Locke was angered at that moment and began to curse at the goblin, " Why you!! I'm going to make you my first kill in this world!" He was inexperienced in fighting so all he could think about was biting the goblin straight in the neck. His attack missed the desired location but ended up causing a severe wound on the goblin's chest. It would surely be slowed down after getting such a deep wound, it looked as if it was about to cry and scream in terror. This wasn't the goblin's lucky day, he had messed with the wrong dragon. Locke took his change and ended its life by crushing its neck with all the force he could muster.

Locke grew excited that he had gained exp and wanted to check his stats, but he wanted to eat first. He went towards the corpse of the goblin and began eating its carcass, it tasted bland and almost unbearable. Locke knew he had to deal with this if it meant to survive, he was prepared for what was to come. After he had finished eating he opened up the system and looked at his stats.

'I seemed to have grown by quite a bit, but it's not enough. There are probably enemies out there that could insta-kill me at this moment. I should probably rest and wait for tomorrow, I'll go hunting looking for some prey.' Locke began to gather some forest leaves into a pile where he could lay down on and rest, he also looked for a safe spot that wasn't very noticeable to sleep in. "This should do." Locke spoke as he immediately went right to sleep.
**NEXT DAY**
Locke had been awoken by a huge rumble that came from deep within the forest, it felt as though something heavy impacted the ground and shook everything. His instinct was starting to develop as he was slowly getting used to being a dragon. He left his little nest and began to roam around the forest looking for food. He always kept a safe distance away from the deeper and more mysterious part of the forest, he could tell the plant life was far more erratic too. He killed many goblins and red rabbits in the meantime and gained a lot of exp, they were only cannon fodder, he had yet to meet the big boys. His stats were now decent, he could put his own against 8 or 9 low leveled goblins.

Locke was growing curious about his mana stat, he had no idea how to use it at the moment. He could only experiment and find results later. He wanted to shoot fire blasts and easily kill monsters, but he also wanted to find ways to uniquely apply mana. He decided to try and roast a few goblins with his firey breath which he would try to emit. He wanted to see how this would work and they were the perfect test subjects at the moment.
When Locke found 4 goblins grouping together carrying food such as rabbits or wolf meat, he knew they were the perfect target for his experiment. He appeared in front of them and stunned all 4 goblins and put them in a trance. He then tried to take advantage of the situation and immediately started trying to completely roast all 4 goblins. It ended up working and all 4 goblins were incinerated along with the food they carried. Locke was also very happy about the outcome, but he realized he was now extremely sluggish. His mana was completely depleted because he had never trained using the technique, he would faint at any moment. Using his last seconds of consciousness he went into hiding and was knocked cold.
Waking up from his slumber, he realized he had been asleep for almost an entire day! He remembered what happened and immediately checked his stats.

'I guess pushing myself to the limits has caused my MP stat to rise by 20 points!' Locke could also feel he now had a better understanding of his technique and could use mana more efficiently. It was still not a lot of progress, he would have to train and hunt a lot more before he would reach anything worth celebrating for. Being in the body of a dragon for 6 days has caused Locke to be more assimilated with pain and killing, he had learned some natural instincts and began to take on some draconic traits. He was not taken over by his primal instincts though, his intelligence stat was far too high for that to happen.
He had decided today was the day he would venture deeper into the forest, he felt more confident now that he could somewhat use his MP. He had to be careful not to drain all his MP as that would cause him to fall unconscious. As he stood on all four of his legs, he began walking towards the deeper parts of the jungle, this was where he met a group of 5 goblins. On what seemed to be a trail, 5 goblins stood tall marching towards something. Locke who was hiding behind some trees eyed all 5 goblins and analyzed them. They appeared to be way sturdier and more well built than the goblins he had fought before. They also had what looked to be rusty daggers that they may have been stolen from other species that could create tools.
I was ready to ambush all 5 of them and get the upper hand. They slowly approached in attacking distance from me, I immediately took the chance and was able to heavily injure 3 of the goblins with my firey blast. It instantly used up 25 MP, I couldn't use the attack again even if I wanted to. The 2 goblins that only had minor damage rushed towards extremely fast, I was lucky a tiny bit faster and managed to escape their daggers unharmed. It was too bad one of the goblins managed to slash at my skin causing about 3 points in hp lost, it was nothing now that I had way more hp than just 15. I lunged toward the goblin that had slashed at my skin and put my jaw in between its skull and crushed down. Its head was turned to mush as it had instantly died. The second goblin was now fearing for its life and began running away in the opposite direction. I caught up and killed it swiftly, all I had to do now was deal with 3 heavily injured goblins who died easily. I ended up gaining 11 levels in one fell swoop, it was a massive haul coming here.

I looked towards the direction all 5 goblins were heading and saw what looked to be a goblin village, to me it was one massive exp farm. I still knew I had to be careful as there could be an enemy far stronger than me guarding the village. I would take things slowly and eradicate all the goblins in that village.
