Ch-2 : BYE BRO...!

Amy frowned as she spoke, "Mom, he's not younger than me; he's three months older! You know why I can't stand people in my room. Besides, he was so childish when he was a kid."

Luna responded with a gentle smile. "Honey, you just said 'when he was a kid.' Kids are meant to be childish, remember? You were even more so."

Amy crossed her arms with a huff.

Luna continued, "Don't you remember how you two were like childhood sweethearts?" She gave Amy a knowing look.

"Mom...?" Amy's expression was a mix of disbelief and embarrassment.

Alex chimed in with a teasing tune, "Childhood sweethearts..."

Amy shot her brother a disapproving look. "Bro, you too?"

Changing the subject, Amy said, "By the way, Mom, I've decided to work at the Koffee café. The shifts are from 4:30 to 7:30."

Luna nodded, "That's fine, honey. Just be careful on your way there."

"I will, Mom!" Amy replied as she headed back up to her room.

Once she was out of earshot, Alex turned to Luna, "Mom, the shifts?"

Luna reassured him, "It's alright, Alex. She's growing up now. I have a safety plan in place."

Alex was intrigued, "A safety plan?"

Luna smirked. "Yes, you remember Allen, right?"

"Of course, you mean cousin Allen?"

Luna nodded. "Exactly. He works at the café too, during the same shifts. Your aunt and I wanted Amy to work there, and she volunteered on her own. It surprised me too."

Alex shook his head with a grin, "Mom, you're so sneaky."

Luna laughed, "Alright, enough of that. Don't you have a flight to catch?"

Alex straightened up, "Yes, I do, Mom."

At the Airport: 11:00 AM

Luna and Leo stood with Alex at the airport, ready to see him off.

"Bye, Alex!" Luna and Leo called out.

"Bye, Mom, bye, Dad," Alex replied. "Bye, sisso!" He waved at Amy, using his affectionate nickname for her.

"Bye, bro! Have a great trip!" Amy shouted.

Luna turned to Amy, whispering, "Honey, don't shout so loudly."

Leo chuckled, "It's okay, Luna. Let her. She's just going to miss her brother."
