25 Chapter 24: The Culprit

Tanner dropped the charges and I got released from the jail the next morning. I wondered why Kaytlyn did not come to pick me up. Dean also did not say anything about her when I asked him.

'That's weird.'

I quickly took the elevator as soon as we arrived at our apartment building without even waiting for my little brother. All I want to do is I just want to see my girl, Kaytlyn Jones a.k.a my fiancé.

I pressed the bell at her unit, but unfortunately there was no one here to open the door. So without wasting any time, I entered her apartment password to unlock the door and went inside to look for her. But she was not inside too. I have checked around the apartment but there was no sign of her. Even her bed already cleaned up...wait her clothes...where...Don't tell me...

"Dean!" I shouted for my little brother.

"What is it, Jay?" He answered from the doorstep of Kaytlyn's bedroom. "Where is she? Where did she go?"

But he remained silent just like earlier.
