Melvin approached Alexa with a warm smile as he said, "Honey, please get me my suit. I just remembered leaving the flash drive in my pocket."

"But I haven't washed it yet," Alexa said with a strange look at Melvin who was good at acting while Joey chose to sit on the sofa.

In the living room, Melvin glanced at Joey who looked agitated. "What's wrong with you?" he asked.

"I'll follow her," said Melvin then immediately stood up. He walked into the minimalist living room towards Alexa's room. the man remembered taking the drunk girl, so he remembered which room to go to.

Arriving in the room, Melvin sighed when he found Alexa who was sitting on the edge of the bed with his suit on her lap and seemed to be calling someone.

"Yes, mom...Take care of your health too. If there is a time of paid leave, I will go home to see mother," said Alexa who suddenly received a call from her parents who were in Jogja.

Melvin approached Alexa who was sitting with her back to him so she didn't notice his presence. he crossed his arms, watching the girl who was talking on the phone.

"Melvin. Why are you so presumptuous of entering the girl's room?" Alexa asked groggily.

"A person in a relationship must be based on love, even if it's just dating," Alexa muttered and then walked out of the room but Melvin grabbed her hand, pulled her back to face each other even their bodies were stuck together.

"Please ... let me be your boyfriend," had Melvin. For some reason, he is very determined to make Alexa his girlfriend and throws his feelings away from Joey.

"What the hell? Why do you have to date? we better be honest with Joey before it becomes a lie… a lie and we will always lie." Alexa looked annoyed and surprised at Melvin.

"No problem. I will come to your office tomorrow. Well then, I turn off the phone," said Melvin then hung up the phone and put his smartphone back into the pocket of his jeans. He looked back at Alexa who was still standing in front of him.

"This is the first time I beg a girl. If I manage to love you, then you are my first love," he said this time more casually.

Alexa remembers how Siska insulted her and always looked down on her because she had a debt. maybe by making Melvin her boyfriend, the chatty boss won't dare to do anything to embarrass her again if she becomes Melvin's lover who is the client's biggest investor in the company.

"Okay... I accept," replied Alexa with a bend in her face. she is still shy but will make Siska jealous because she is Melvin's girlfriend. What's more, Melvin will come to his office tomorrow, it could be an opportunity to make the chatty boss be on fire.

"Thank you." Melvin smiled in relief then grabbed Alexa's hand and led her out of the room. they walked slowly, staring at each other awkwardly and strangely at the new status they had just decided on.

"Tonight at seven o'clock. I hope you are ready when I come to pick you up," Melvin whispered when he arrived in the living room.

Alexa just nodded with a strange feeling in her heart saying, 'I'm dating this handsome man? Good grief! Gea's words are like a true prophecy!'
