1 1. My introduction

Hi I'm princess Chloe from the kingdom of alvianna, I am the third but first daughter of my parents, King Daniel and Queen Rachel of alvianna and my life just took a turn for the worse.

When I turned sixteen, my parents pressured me to get married, I saw different suitors but none of them were to my liking, it went on like that till I turned nineteen.

I was in my room reading my book as usual when my father came in.

"Your majesty." I said and got off from the bed.

"Come and sit." he said.

"What's the problem, dad?" I asked with anxiety.

He took a deep breath and said "I have arranged a wedding for you."

"WHAT, dad how could you, why would you do such a thing?." I said already tearing up.

"I know, I know but our kingdom needs allies, it will make our kingdom stronger." he said.

"That's all you care about, your kingdom, you don't even care about your own family." I said while crying but father just kept quiet.

"You are going to get married to King Rufus of the kingdom of Bolzar." He said.

"Prepare yourself, you're getting married next week, the king doesn't want to waste time." he added and walked away and left while slamming the door.

I just buried my head in my pillow and started crying, then I slept off without bathing that day.

I woke up the next day at 5:00am for sword practice with my younger sister Gina and my elder brother Roland;

When I was fourteen my father disapproved of me learning sword practice but my mum thought it was a brilliant idea and so did my eldest brother Augustine so I started learning the way of the sword , now I'm pretty much a professional.

I really didn't feel like doing sword practice today but I had to, because today I was going to prove Ronald wrong by defeating him; so I reluctantly got off from the bed and got dressed for the day

I got to the courtyard with my sword and met Gina and Ronald there, they were fighting;

I think Ronald got on Gina's bad side again so I just went to a seat and sat while waiting for fire to stop fire;

Then I started thinking about my forced marriage to that king; yes he was powerful but I saw him as a male prostitute, he has ten wives and more than fifty women in his harem; He was short and bald and extremely ugly; I was lost in thought when Gina tapped me.

"What are you thinking about?" Ronald asked and came to take a seat and so did Gina.

" Father wants me to get married to King Rufus " I said while crying .

"Oh my goodness, why him?" Gina said while Roland coaxed me on my back.

"It's alright." Ronald said.

"No it's not , father said the wedding is next week." I said still sobbing.

"Then run away." Ronald said.

"HUH?." Gina and I said in Union.

" ARE YOU CRAZY, you fool run away to where? " Gina sparked.

"Shut up Gina; Chloe you know you can run away to another country and stay there for a while until this whole thing dies down , and you know father can't stay mad at you" Ronald said.

"Oh yeah" Gina said.

" I'll go tomorrow" I said.

"Great." Gina said.

"But promise not to tell anyone" I said .

" Promise" Gina and Ronald said.

We couldn't practice anymore cause time for practice was over and I told Gina and Ronald to come outside by 11:00pm, I didn't have any financial problems cause I had my own savings, my parents started saving money for their children even before we were born, and I was old enough to have access to my account, and I had about One billion dollars in my account so I was financially stable.

I took my phone and put it in my bag, I took my charger and some clothes along with my shoes and got ready to leave, so I changed from my royal clothes to a high waist Jean and a crop top, then I tried to pack my hair , I had to pack my hair without my maids and it was going to be difficult because my hair literally swept the floor so I decided not to pack it.

I took my passport and left through the window , then I climbed down and met Gina and Ronald; Ronald took one of the cars and then we left.

When we got to the airport , I booked a ticket and it was almost time for my flight

"Bye big sis; I'm gonna miss you." Gina said and hugged me.

"Don't worry I'll call, and I will be back soon." I said and then I went to hug Ronald.

"Bye little sis, only God knows how I'm going to cope with Gina and Alicia when you're not around." Ronald said.

" Don't worry I'll be back soon." I said and kissed him on his cheek and did the same to Gina ; then I boarded the plane to California ; hoping to start a new life.
