8 CHAPTER EIGHT

The bell rang and almost everyone stood up to leave. I had to wait for Mira and Dave. "So sorry for keeping you waiting" Mira said dramatically. I giggled. "Where is Dave?" i asked. "He went to secure a table for us with Clyde" she replied. "Clyde?" i said in a question tone. "Erm...Yeah. He is our friend too" she said. "Okay" i replied.

We entered into a large hall with round tables. Each table could host five people.

Mira and i went to get our food before joining Dave and Clyde.

Clyde is so handsome. He looked shocked when Dave introduced me as his sister. "She's beautiful" he whispered to Dave but i heard. "I told you"Dave whispered back. Mira chuckled and we all looked at her. "Why whisper when we can hear you?"she said laughing and i joined her

"Whatever, princess how many friends do you have?"Dave asked. "None." i replied looking down at my food.Whats wrong?"Mira asked. I sighed. "Am i different from you guys?" i asked. The were taken aback by my question. "No" Dave replied hesitantly. "Then why do they keep staring at me like i fell from the sky?" i asked.

Clyde's POV

What else does she expect when she is beautiful. No one answered her question. I looked around the cafeteria and some people were staring at usI looked at David and he looked worried "Dont worry Lily you'd be fine" Ella said.

We finished lunch and made our way out of the cafeteria. We all walked Christie to her class before leaving for ours.

Christie's POV

"How was school today?" mum asked during dinner "Everyone except Clyde hates me" i said feeling sad that i had no friends. Mum and Dave choked on their food. Dad's cutlery dropped "What?" dad asked. "No one wants to talk to me yet they keep staring like i'm an alien" I said and continued my food but i lost my appetite. I left for my room "I'll check on her"Dave said and followed me.
