2 Sisters and Family.

It's always lovely and beautiful in the kingdom of Falaria which was the border kingdom between the Human kingdom and the Elven kingdom. since it was a border kingdom, it wasn't rare to see demi humans and elves. the kingdom was rich and prosperous in livestock, crops, silk, diamonds, cotton, and gold and it benefited both the Human and Elven kingdom alike. They never lacked anything because of their successful businesses.

Lucile And her sister Mariam were preparing to leave for their Farm which was located in the farming village. The farming village was two miles away from Falaria and so they had to leave early so as to start work early and finish early.

"Good morning Mr. Denton!" Lucile said as she locked the door behind her sister and walked towards the Denton's house after sighting Mr. Denton on his front porch.

"Oh, Lucile! Good Morning. Off to the farm, this early morning are we?" Mr. Denton said as he got off his chair and walked towards them.

"Yes, sir. some crops need harvesting and replanting today." Lucile said as she came to a halt in front of him.

"Good. Now I know that it is good for one to work hard but don't overwork yourself. And also come back early so that you both can have some dinner today." Mr. Denton told them.

"Okay we'll listen to your advice and we'll surely return quickly," Lucile answered reassuringly.

As they made their way quietly to the farm, Mariam began to hop in little steps. She knew that although she was going to the farm with her sister, all she was going to do was just milking and feeding the cows while her sister would tend to the farm;harvesting replanting and storing the crops then, later on, she would select a few of the harvested crops to be sold at the market. Sometimes, Mariam would help her sister on the farm and she always helped her sell the goods.

The money gotten from selling the selected crops are divided into two places. One is for their needs and necessities while the other went to their savings. They've been saving money to move to the Elven kingdom but instead, they decided to remain in Falaria and visited their parent's families from time to time.

Their father was a human while their mother was an elf. So they had family on both sides. Mariam likes to visit both families because she always got gifts from her grandparents on both sides. So today she was especially very happy because she was going to visit her elven grandparents and so the work on the farm would be cut short because they had to pack their things for the journey before dinner.

On the other hand, Lucile thought that it was strange that her mother's family suddenly summoned them since it hadn't been too long since their last visit. She couldn't help but feel uneasy but she had to put the thought at the back of her mind so as not to worry her little sister although the uneasiness still remained.
