Just A Dream

"My lady, It is time to wake up, It is almost noon." Eve then knocks on the room and waited for a reply from her owner.

Alice woke up then sat right up in bed by the sound of knocking and by Eve's sudden word and was shocked.

'Noon?! Damn, I wasting my time' As she went rushing to her bathroom.

'Uh I'm such a mess and my wounds still hurt... maybe that is why I woke up late.' Alice looked at herself by the mirror sighs and tried to fix her hair.

She decided to take a bath so she can relax her stressed and weak body. Alice closed her eyes as she heard Eve knocking and asking if she was awake.

Eve can barely hear her Owner's voice but heard running water indicating that Alice is awake.

"My Lady you did not have dinner yesterday night. Do you want me to bring food up in your room?" Eve as she stares at the door and waited for another response.

"I will be eating on the dining table so prepare it there" Alice responds to Eve while standing up the bathtub, with the head facing up and her left hand through her hair.

As she finishes her bath she then thought of what to wear in the Assassination. 'Black dress or black shirt and pants, hmmm... what to pick.' As she went out of her bathroom and into her closet scanning for the perfect outfit.

Alice with a disgusted face 'ugh there's nothing perfect for the night, maybe I need to change my hair. Maybe my hair would shine with moonlight.' As she slightly touches her hair then change her hair color to black.

Minutes passed by and she has found a suitable outfit. Then she got out of her bedroom and went to the dining area.

Her outfit was with a black kind of brown shirt and black pants paired with black and gold shoes looking like a servant.

"Eve, take care of the mansion for me. I have matters to attend to outside the empire." Alice then ate her lunch in peace.

Eve with a slightly shocked face as she saw her Misstress looking like a servant but back to her no emotional face and nodded.

As Alice had finished eating, she then walked out of the mansion and made her way outside the empire. The sun has set and the moon slowly showed.

Alice then went inside the moon elve forest and scanned her surroundings before releasing her wings and flee to side-leaf town.

As she flew above the dense forest, she felt and smelled some blood at the end of the forest near the walls of the town.

'Two humans and one high-rank blood demon, hmm..' Alice narrowed her eyes trying to see what was going on but then she saw her targets. Miles and Joyce were severely injured and are trying to kill the blood demon.

Miles swinging his sword aiming at the blood demon's weak spot while maneuvering his position to invade the demon's attack.

Joyce, on the other hand, was struggling to get up and need her wand to support herself, looking tired and pitiful.

The blood demon at his last breath can help but laugh out "If I die you both are going with me!"

Intense magic encircles the blood demon that chanted some kind of curse that Alice knows of but will risk of killing the chanter himself/herself as the curse will blow up the body creating a small and deadly explosion.

'So he would risk his own life to kill these humans? So prideful' Alice sigh and shaking her head of disapproval.

She noticed that Miles and Joyce looking with wide eyes as Miles tried to carry his wife but were already too late as the blood demon finished his chanting and ran to the couple.

Bang!

Alice then changes herself to her true form slowly walk to Miles and Joyce was they had missing body parts and has burned skin. Miles was missing his lower body while Joyce was missing both arms and legs.

Their facial expression looking disbelief and at the side of both their eyes a single teardrop can be seen.

'I have seen too much bloodshed. I can't recall when I felt pity. Ah... That's right it was when I was with him.' Alice recalled her past self, her heart hurt a little then lightly laugh of the past memories.

"MOM! DAD!" a scream was heard at the end of the other side of the wall.

Alice then looked at the screaming sound then was paralyzed in place as she looked at the little boy, her one of her hand was on her mouth and her eyes were wide while shaking her had.

'This as to be a dream JUST A DREAM!' she screams in her mind as the little boy went to his parents.

"NO! MOM DAD PLEASE DON'T DIE!" the little boy shakes his mother's body but the body did not show any movement.
