1 The Ruins

A long time ago,

Humans and Monsters lived together in the surface . One Day without any warning the humans declared war against Monsters . For an unknown reason they fought each other friends against friends . After a long war the humans succeeded , they trapped the monsters underground sealing them with a barrier beneath Mount Ebott.

Not long after rumors spread about the mountain it is said that if you climbed this mountain you will never return.

A human child determined to climbed this mountain succeeded and fell into the ruins.

Injured by it's fall the human called out for help . ASRIEL the king's son heard it's call . It took the human back to the castle . The small prince showed the human to it's parents . His parents face looked like they were about to scream . But seeing their son so curious they took the human and laid it on the bed . They treated the human child with care . The future was really looking bright for monster kind.
