1 Chapter 1 Li Tian

A sea of stars blanketed the night sky hanging above a city dome, creating the perfect ethereal backdrop for the show taking place down below. In the middle of the stage stood a single youth singing the most beautiful tune to resonate through the night.

"Always there... for you..." the chocolate brown-haired young man closed his eyes as he wrapped up the final song for the night. It was his number one hit single that all the ladies and lovers out there swooned over; a song for their significant other.

But he was pretty sure they were mostly fantasizing about him anyway.

He smirked. The expression was quickly enhanced onto the screen, making it visible to the entire stadium of fans. Of course, the already fanatic screaming got more out of hand during that moment. He wouldn't have accepted anything less.

A horde of 'Li Tian, I love you!', 'Have my babies!', 'Marry me!', and even 'My daughter is beautiful and single!' were thrown out at him. He was only seventeen and was already at the top of his game.

Yeah, it was nice being him. Li Tian, South Huaxia's number one most popular singer. Although he liked to think of himself as the number one 𝘤𝘦𝘭𝘦𝘣𝘳𝘪𝘵𝘺 instead. Arrogant to a fault. Born with godlike good looks, a deep sultry voice to match, and a colossal family to back him up, he was able to get away with having a such a dislikable attitude.

However, there was one aspect where his arrogance was put in check. He would never admit it but it existed. The vast Huaxia Nation was divided into two parts; the North and South. Sure he was popular in the South, without even an infant who hadn't heard of his name at least once existed, but he wasn't nearly as successful in the North. There was only one big reason for that.

Yingxue, Siren of the North.

Dubbed thus due to her supposedly otherworldly voice and beguiling charisma. The North of Huaxia's number one singer 𝘢𝘯𝘥 celebrity. They were around the same age as well.

He wondered if 𝘩𝘦𝘳 crowd went as crazy as his did during her concerts.

"Tsk," he clicked his tongue at his ruined mood.

He nonchalantly waved towards the crowd and left the stage, not even leaving a single word of goodbye. But the fans, not knowing any better, took no offense and just ate it all up. The man was hot as fire, and they themselves were Pyros, his diehard fans. As their god and leader, nothing he did could ever be wrong.

"Hey, Tian!" two pairs of young men and women decked from head to toe in gold and tight fitting outfits came up to him.

"Tian you were great!" one of the guys, Yijun, with four rings on each hand, wrapped his arm around Li Tian's shoulders. "We should go out and celebrate!"

The young singer in question raised an eyebrow and spat, "All the places you bring me are shit."

"Then maybe 𝘺𝘰𝘶 should bring us somewhere nice instead," a girl named Cass came up and drew on his chest with her finger seductively. "Not all of us are 𝘛𝘩𝘦 Li Tian."

"Yeah, 𝘛𝘪𝘢𝘯," the other girl, Lila, fixed his collar flirtatiously. "Treat us in celebration."

The other guy chipped in as well.

"Treat us to one of Li Tian's famous party spots!"

Li Tian smirked at the enthusiasm. It was good to show these plebians what proper celebrating was all about. He first eyed the girls all over him and pushed their hands off himself; he didn't want to get their cheap perfume to stick. "Alright then, we head out now."

"Alright!!" "That's my man!" The guys slapped his back, much to his annoyance. They paraded to the exit.

Feeling his shoulders still under Yijun's arm, he wasn't having it anymore. "Get your dirty arm off me."

"Oh, yeah," Yijun stuttered in surprise and pulled his arm off. "Sorry bout that."

"Don't let it happen again," the young star chastened in spite, the look of disgust clear on his face. With the arm off, he hastened himself to walk at the front of the pack, leaving Yijun at the back. He always needed to assert himself as the leader of the group.

Yijun looked at his 'dirty' arm and glowered.

Zexi, the other guy, paced himself to the back and patted his shoulder. He glanced ahead and whispered, "We can get him tonight if you want."

Glaring at the chocolate haired figure ahead of them, Yijun gave it a long thought and finally nodded his head. "He's too arrogant for his own good. He no longer holds much value anymore anyway. It should be time we show him how 𝘨𝘰𝘰𝘥 𝘧𝘳𝘪𝘦𝘯𝘥𝘴 we are..."

A hideous smile grew on both of their lips. They sped up to keep up with the entourage. Tapping the two girls' shoulders, they mouthed 'tonight' at them.

The girls nodded in understanding.

As Li Tian was heading out the door towards his limo, a woman in a black suit rushed towards their direction from the other side but she was abruptly stopped by the two 'friends' in the back.

"Tian! Where the hell do you think you're going?" she yelled at him from behind the two.

"We're just going out to celebrate, Meilin. No big deal," he replied lackadaisically and entered the limo.

"Celebrate??" Meilin glanced at the two young men holding her back. They looked eighteen or nineteen at most. The sneer on their faces was hardly reassuring to her. "Tian you still have work to do!"

"Relax Ms. Manager," one of the guys smiled at her.

It looked disgusting.

"Yeah, we'll be good. We'll send him home as early as possible," the other said politely as well.

Sounded like garbage.

Her instincts were raging for her to stop him. "Where are you guys heading?" she tried acting much cooler as she asked. Maybe by acting more laidback, they'd warm up to her.

The two sniggered in response. She wasn't tricking them. "You're going to have to ask Tian for that one."

"Yeah, we know nothing."

They continued sniggering as they left her standing there dumbfounded. Soon, they also climbed into the limo with the rest and speeded off.

Meilin, also known as Li Meilin, a member of the Li Family and caretaker of Li Tian, clenched her fists in absolute anger.

.....

"Your manager is pretty uptight, eh?" Zexi asked jokingly.

To the left and right of Li Tian were the two girls desperately trying to get in his good grace but the guy just wasn't having any of it. Too cheap for him. But to the girls, even being cheap was fine, they just needed one night and they would have immense bragging rights. Besides, the man was also a Li big shot. If they did manage to get one night, they had pins and needles on hand ready to poke holes through that plastic barrier.

"She controls my whole schedule for the most part," Li Tian replied casually.

"Maybe you should get rid of her," Cass hissed beside him but earned her an intense glare in return. She stiffened in her seat.

"So anyway," Yijun coughed, "where are we heading? We should definitely go somewhere we can drink and party."

"Yeah! Let's get wasted!" the others cheered.

The star, on the other hand, furrowed his eyebrow in disgust. "I don't drink."

The comment caught the others off guard. What did he mean he 𝘥𝘪𝘥𝘯'𝘵 drink? Sure he was underage, the youngest of them all, but he was a celebrity. Did it even matter how old they were? But the celebrity in question didn't deem it worthy to explain himself.

"Well," Zexi tried to salvage the plan. "We should still go party. We still want to drink even if you don't."

"Yeah, didn't you promise to treat us?" Lila teased.

"Come on, Li Tian. Surely finding an amazing place is of no problem to you," Yijun egged him on.

With them singing his praises constantly, it was no wonder a young man as haughty as Li Tian would cave in. "Driver, to the Red Palace."

"Affirmative Master Tian," the driver responded.

"Woohoo!!" "That's Li Tian for ya!" "Party time, baby!"
