2 Chapter 1

"This is the beginning of the end I swear. Mom you can't make me go to high school I'm begging you", a boy with chestnut brown unkempt hair wailed as his mother tried to get him up.

"I'll give you $145 for every day you endure", she said.

"deal", the boy stated suddenly looking awake.

He bolted into the bathroom happy to be awaiting his reward at the end of the day. his mother smiled. She had dark brown hair pulled into a low bun and blue grey eyes. She was wearing a white dress shirt and a rust colored vest over it with matching trousers that widened at the calves.

'Maybe this year he'll actually make friends. Or maybe... what's this odd sense of foreboding I'm getting?'

She sighed and shrugged it off. Her old habits were getting to her.

'Calm down Annette you don't do that anymore. Put it behind you. You have a son to look after.'

She left the room pretending to not notice the tiny camera in the form of a bee watching them.

She picked up a penny and tossed it at the video cam "insect" without looking to see if she hit it.

She had of course and she knew this quite well.

The bee fell down badly damaged. she peered out the window and smiled. "Still great at throwing things as always I see" came the voice of her husband.

"ah just old habits" she chuckled nervously. He had perfectly tied his maroon tie to go with his navy blue suit. He had brown eyes with glasses and black hair.

"Remember dear we made a promise,that when Titan was born that we wouldn't do that any more, correct?"

" I haven't forgotten" she smiled.

Suddenly he chose to look at the bathroom door opening. Titan was coming!

They decided to do something natural and expected. They kissed.

"I think every kid in the world can imagine how awkward this is", titan grumbled as he maneuvered around them to get breakfast as he was now dressed for school. They both chuckled lightly.

He decided to eat waffles bacon and eggs as well as a glass of orange juice.

"do you want to ride or walk to school" she asked. "Annette dear he's in high school" his dad groaned.

"that's why he gets a choice this time", she smirked.

'It's so weird how my parents are such love birds.' Titan thought.

He drank the last of his orange juice and stuffed the last of his bacon in his mouth. "I'll be walking there today but you can pick me up after school" he said leaving.
