3 A FIRST DUNGEON

ShiHan and the rest of the group fell onto the cold floor of the cavern. Torches lit up in a row, brightening up the original dark room. The icicles shown all over the cave, it glowing with blue and hints of black showing. It was almost enchanting with view.

MengYao spoke in a mesmerized tone, "So beautiful"

FenFang snorted, "Until you get attacked by the demons"

"Where do we go next?" XiaoBei questions as he looks at the map.

The map had shown the cavern split into three different routes; each with a fate sealed different for the people and only one was the way out. The point of this dungeon was for the fact that indeed to find the demons to eliminate them but the developers put a twist. All did contain a demon but each route a demon boss. But that's what they didn't know.

"Do we split or do we stay together, is the real question. Rest can be decided easily." YingTai reasons.

"Stay. We don't know what is to happen so it's best we are to stay. But the dungeon shouldn't honestly be too bad as the first one."

The group of them discussed strategies and possibilities about the dungeon. None of the information about this game was much out yet and with it being only two days out, no big info was out. But in the end they decided that ShiHan, the party leader was the best choice to go in with.

Jing Ye Si moved around the place, slightly ahead of the team. Liu Xing Yu followed directly behind him, with the group following. He moved towards the last entrance, feeling a unkind vibe from it. The entrance was seeming with more icicles than the other, compared to the first with less. It seemed like a more dangerous route. The details mattered in the Ethereal with hints hidden everywhere as Aitherios said.

The group held small chit chat about themselves and their lives. Laughter was being shared when a scream shook them. A grotesque looking monster appear.

FenFeng gave a scared yelp as XiaoBei laughed at her.

"Calm down Feng, it's not that bad." XiaoBei chuckled.

"Don't call me Feng." FenFeng mutters awkwardly, "and it was for me okay."

ShiHan's reactions where quicker than FenFeng's as he threw a knock-up at the demon then throwing the sword at it. Having successfully stunning it with Hurling Stop, ShiHan auto attacks it and urges the others to continue.

"It's okay, FenFeng. Just continue and hit the demon." ShiHan's voice was gentle while he said that to give a reassuring manner.

"Thank you."

The demon quickly was gone as quick as it appeared before more had came out. FenFeng stood in the front along with ShiHan, attacking them and as more of a crowd control type of class, they were the ones who had full control of the situation. XiaoBei hit them causing it pure heavy damage standing in the back as YingTai caused damage with hidden effects. Of course, MengYao was busy healing up the two up front and buffing the effects the other two in the back.

"There is so many of them.." MengYao whined, "Duizhanggg¹ why did you pick this one."

"I had a feeling." ShiHan curtly replied.

He didn't have much to say about that which nothing much to reply. The group was focused on getting rid of the swarm of demons when it stopped. There was none.

Relief seeming to get into their hands before ShiHan opened their mouths. A brief cheer erupted from them.

"Wait I think there's more."

"What? No way. This is a level 5 dungeon, that was tiring enough already." MengYao retorted.

"No. I think he's onto something. This game challenges us with all the different features. That wasn't a dungeon that just happened. That was just wasting time. I think there is more. There is probably more." YingTai mentioned after careful thought.

"I think you're right. I mean look." XiaoBei mentioned.

A vicious looking woman laughed and seductively walked over before a cutscene appeared.

She laughed with demons waiting at her hand.

"You won't win this battle, travelers." Her voice dragged on as a smirk grew up on her face.

The woman wearing the red, satin robe walked deeper in the cavern.

"Follow me. Let me show you what you are getting yourself into."

She walked, swaying her hips side to side with the icicles growing out of view and darkness appeared. She stopped once they reached a point in which there was no rather to walk in a round room. The woman kept walking towards a seat in the middle. The group of adventurers were stopped in their tracks by two demon generals. They tried to aggressively retaliate before the woman cut them off.

"Generals, back off the kids. And you guys, don't do anything or you're dead."

Their characters were forced into a position where they couldn't move or anything.

Chatters started going in the chat as they murmured to each other.

"What do you think is happening?"

"LaoDa² was right."

"Mannnn what's going to happen now."

Truth is the stamina of their characters were a little down but it wasn't too bad. They had potions to it but currently they couldn't access it until the cutscene was over.

She sat on a chair that looked like a throne. Her leg stuck out and crossed over the other, revealing her stockings and a lacy garter.

"Mmm get me some of that." XiaoBei let out a big laugh afterwards, "And before you guys say anything, yes I know."

"Darlings, I want you to know to back off. Don't interfere with my plans, okay? or I will kill you."

The party leader had the option of choosing what to happen next with options of speeches he could say back to the woman.

More discussion arrived at the group.

"I think we should fight her? Complete the dungeon, am I right?"

"Or we can regard this as a test trial and do it again?"

In the end, though they decided fighting her wasn't going to her anything. Jing Ye Si hastily argued with the woman replying, "Tell us what you are doing or else."

The NPC cackle and went, "Now, now. That wasn't a smart option of yours. I'll let you taste my wrath." She cracked her neck and gave a beaming smile, "Maybe I'll tell you right before I torture to your deathbed."

Then they were released from the bind that prevented them to moving and the first dungeon battle started.
