55 Chapter 54- Kawaguchi Lake PT1

A handsome young man with black hair and violet eyes run through the underground as he breathes heavily due to his thin and small muscle that lacks any physical exercise.

'So, that's Cornelia. She's nothing at all like Clovis!' While thinking about his defeat, the young man notices a black figure blocking his way.

Seeing the figure of Zero, Lelouch knew that this guy was the one who saved him from Cornelia, but he didn't express any gratitude and stared with vigilance. "Why did you save me?"

"Didn't I tell you? I can't have you go dying on me." C.C said as she took the Zero mask on her face.

"I wouldn't have lost if the conditions were equal." Incense by C.C's prediction of his defeat, Lelouch shouted.

"That is if you have the power to set the condition you want."Emerging from the dark, Jack walk beside C.C as he looks at Lelouch with a grin on his face.

"You looked like a sore loser now, Lelouch," Jack said.

Lelouch expression turns ugly when heard Jack, realizing that this person in front saved him again made him uncomfortable. Although Jack didn't go on his way, Lelouch still saw him as a threat because of the frightening ability he possessed.

"Then I'll set it up!" Said Lelouch as he looks at Jack's eyes.

"I'll form an army which can't lose to Britannia!" Lelouch thought that his defeat is due to the quality of pawn they possess, so he decided to form an elite army for himself to fight against Britannia.

"Then I am looking forward to it." Saying that Jack disappeared under the shock eyes of Lelouch.

"This person's is thoroughly incomprehensible." Said Lelouch while looking at the deep darkness of the underground tunnel.

C.C didn't say anything, but a light flash on his eyes. 'The future is it.'

After the Shinjuku incident that led by Cornelia, Jack continued with his carefree life talking with his classmate and didn't interfere with Lelouch business.

His classmate found out that Jack is easy to get along with, so they found out that talking with Eleven isn't uncomfortable at all so their attitude toward Japanese change for good, but some noble Britanians with status didn't agree to their position and treated them as slaves.

Jack didn't bother to pay attention to them, but if they reach his bottom line, is it just likes asking for their neck to be chop by him. Repay good with kindness and punish evil with a butcher knife, although Jack didn't like killing, he can still cripple people to teach them a lesson.

Jack already spend more than half a year in this world, although the time frame of this place run differently from his world if Jack calculates the time he was missing on earth, it should be three days or so as he was not sure if the law of the time of Origin bead runs differently.

But his intuition told him that he should not be missing on earth for more than three days, as the Origin Bead reacted as if replying to his worries, so Jack felt relief and didn't think about it.

"Hey Jack-san, do you have something to do?" A young man with semi-long dark blue hair with bangs that spread out to the sides asked.

Jack look at Rival as he shook his head. "No, I don't."

"That's great, you know, among the student council we are the only one remains. Shirley, Nina and, President have something to do in Tokyo settlement while I don't know where Lelouch and Kalen have gone too, don't you think that they left us here bored ourselves." Complaint Rival, while organizing the books and tools inside the student council.

Jack was about to say something but got interrupted as his phone vibrated. "Sorry, can I go out for a while?"

"Sure."

Looking at the caller, Jack found that something may happen as Cecile will not make a phone call when he was in the academy. "Hello, Cecile-san."

"Jack this is an emergency, the Kawaguchi convention got attack by a terrorist is now occupied by them. A lot of tourists is now their hostage, Princess Cornelia, added us to her troops as her back up."

WIth a change expression, Jack said. "I understand Cecile-san."

"Rival, I got something to do, sorry." Said Jack to Rival who sigh feeling dejected.

"Sure man, how are all so busy, I even want you to accompany me to my part-time in the bar." Complaint Rivalz.

Ignoring Rivalz rumble, Jack made his way out of the academy and saw Cecile beside the private vehicle waving her hands toward him. "Jack hurry."

Entering the vehicle, Jack asked Cecile about the situation in Kawaguchi. "The Terrorist is Japan liberation front and has taken hostage of the members of the Sakuradite allocation meeting, the leader of the group is Lt. Col. Kusakabe formerly of the old Japanese military."

"It's believed that the reason the terrorists took this action is because of Sakuradite."

Sakuradite in its rawest form is one of the most dangerous materials as a piece of ore about the size of someone's palm, when tapped together with another piece can generate massive explosions as shown in Code Geass: Renya of Darkness.

But that not what made Jack worried as the Sakuradite is not that threat against him even if it explodes in front near him. What made him anxious is Euphemia being there, as far his memory could tell, this plot almost killed Euphemia if not for Lelouch and Suzaku intervention.

Now that he took Suzaku identity, Jack was not sure if the plot will change for the worst. So Jack decided to use all of the power on his disposal to protect Euphemia from harm.

Arriving at the Kawaguchi lake, Cecille and Lloyd look at Jack as they gave him a blueprint of the building.

The building is constructed like a tower and only has a bridge to enter the hotel and beside it was surrounded by a lake, the Britannians tried to enter underwater, but that made it impossible as the Japanese have a countermeasure under the lake. Besides taking a battle underwater can cause a severe consequence, so the plan to attack the terrorist in the hotel came to a standstill.

"There's only one route left from which to develop a hostage rescue plan."

"The main tunnel right under the convention center hotel, if we use this and then, following the plan, destroy the foundation block, we can submerge the hotel." Cecile continued.

"Since this tunnel was built to take in supplies as well, a Sutherland should be able to get inside it. But if the enemies are not stupid, I think a mere Sutherland will not be able to make it, so prepare to be dispatch Jack-chan." Said Lloyd with a grin on his face.

Looking at the monitor, Jack could see Sutherland entering the tunnel then got obliterated by Japanese weapon.

Lloyd who was looking at this grinned as he expected this scenario. "Although we're an irregular unit with a different chain of command and an eleven pilot, the situation will change their plan and use you as a decoy, but that will be your chance to prove your worth."

Saying this the three turned silent as they waited for their order, Jack shook his head as a thought appeared on his mind. 'Should I use my Geass?'

'No, using Geass may change the plot, I don't want to destroy my effort infiltrating Britannia.'

'Hmm, I should wait for a while, if there's a change to the scenario I will use my power and forcefully kill those Japanese myself.'

Sitting cross-legged, Jack used this time to calm his mind and cultivated until evening. Walking out from the vehicle, Jack saw Cecile on Lancelot cockpit, tuning it up preparing for their action.

Noticing Jack gaze, Cecile turn her head toward him and asked. "Those students hostages are your friend from the student council, right?"

Jack didn't answer Cecile, but look at the building and saw the terrorist taking their hostage to the top, urging them to fall to their death. Jack's eyes turned cold, seeing the cruelty in front of him. Cecile shivered when she saw him with that expression. "Jack, what happen to you?"

Taking a binocular from her toolbox, Cecile looks at the building.

Seeing the scene through the binocular, Cecile felt cold inside then turned her head as she can't bear to watch the inhumane act of the terrorists. After recovering, Cecile looks at Jack with shock expression. "Jack, how could you see that far!"

"Well, I have unique eyes since I was born, so my eyesight can see further than a regular person." A wry smile appeared on Jack's face as he said this.

"Oh, Lloyd seems to get us news, Zero appeared in front of Princess Cornelia then ordered us to conquer the tunnel after Zero entered the building." Said Cecile.

"Be careful, I know they are using you, as a decoy but I believe in you!" Said Cecile.

"Thank you." Said Jack while he scratches his nose. 'Why do you have so much trust in me, could it be, she fell in love with me? Nah, impossible, aha.'

"Warrant Office Kururugi, here is the outline of the mission."

"According to the prime search, the hostages are located on the hotel's middle floor."

"Advance prototype weapon Z-01 Lancelot will use the tunnel to move under the hotel. Once on site, you will destroy the foundation block and submerge the hotel. The floor with the hostages should hold out for eight minutes.

"Hostages rescue and mop-up of the terrorist will be handled by other units."

"You will be using V.A.R.I.S (Variable Ammunition Repulsion Impact Spitfire) to destroy the foundation. Setting the impact rail to anti-material level 3, so, the only question in this linear cannon waiting for you in the tunnel. Space is limited in there, so even the Lancelot will only have an evasion rate of forty-seven percent." Said Llyod with a smile on his face.

"If you can't do it, still bring back Lancelot in a perfect condition okay?" Lloyd said.

"Don't worry, I have one hundred percent assurance, that I can take the mission perfectly."

"Oh, what confidence!" Lloyd smiled hearing this. 'Let see what surprise you can still give me Jack-chan.'

After landing in the tunnel, Jack waited for twelve minutes to start the system of Lancelot.

"M.E boost!" Said Jack.

"Lancelot, Launch." Cecile's voice echoed through his ears.

'Ehe, it's time to give them some shock for dragging Euphy-chan in this!' Jack smirk.
