32 31. It went well

The red light on OT went off .

D came out of OT , was greeted by anxious faces of Shounak and his mother , they were waiting for her to tell them about his condition .

D sighed and smiled brightly saying ,"It went well aunty and Big B . I had to remove larger part of aorta due to its bad condition but it went well and he will wake up tomorrow early in morning or in afternoon ."

As soon as she said this , Shounak hugged her , she literally froze at her spot . She went stiff but recovered from it and hugged him back saying everything is ok now .

He felt relieved like some huge burden was lifted off his chest . Like he was just waiting for those words .

D was exhausted and was about to excuse herself from them but she fainted in his arms.

Shounak panicked when she went limp in his arms and shouted for Professor Kapoor to check on her .

When professor checked her pulse , he sighed and told Shounak,"It's nothing big ."

sigh .....

"This girl never change , she must have pulled an all nighter again to study about surgery and skipped breakfast .She fainted from hunger . Don't worry. I will give her glucose drip and she will wake up in an hour ."

Shounak nodded and carried her in princess style to his office . He didn't why ,but he directly carried her to his office .

After an hour , she woke up , when she opened her eyes, she saw Shounak's worried face .
