8 Uh oh...
A mini-boss and bosses are special compared to normal beast, a mini-boss would get 1.5x Stats points per level while a boss would get 2x. The only way you could beat one of equal level is to form a party. When they die, you could harvest their body and sell it for a high price since being a special monster will enchance their body which increases their value.
Theres another type of monsters which are called named monsters and they are more unique then mini-bosses and bosses. A variant is also another type of monster of which they could either be stronger or weaker than the original monster they were suppose to be. If it's stronger, then it's called an alpha.
The mini-boss that the class is facing now is just a regular mini-boss, it would still take awhile before they could kill the monster.
The class was in a formation with the Magicians being at the back, Warriors at the front and the support classes giving support via potions or supplies.
Kanako and Haruto were leading the Magicians to coordinate their attacks while Sora, Riku and Airi were leading the Warriors at the forefront. The [Arch] classed students were doing noticable damage while the [Great] classed ones were barraging the Mini-boss with dozens of attacks.
What's sizuin doing you asked? well... He's just swinging his sword weakly, it may be weak to him but it was the strongest amongst the [Great Warriors].
He was quite lax as his reactions had made him veiw the monster's attacks in a snail point of veiw, he could activate this ability on or off. His status made his perception increase and he could perceive things at any rate below his maximum.
The minotuar didn't just stand there though, it tried to break the class's formation but was stopped by Riku and Sora. Riku invested heavily on STR while Sora invested on CON and VIT so they both were able to block the Minotaur's path and saved the class from trouble.
Airi balanced out her stats so she almost had as much VIT and CON as Sora while having half of Riku's STR. She was told to hone her skills so she didn't go all out. If she did, she would be able to easily kill the minotaur albeit slowly.
A few minutes passed and the minotaur was quite beaten, it had numeral small cuts or holes while three big cuts and a missing horn. Rank F monsters had quite a strong will to stand with injuries that severe.
*ROOOARRR*
It suddenly roared and its body expanded by half it's original size, It had grew redder than it used to be.
"The minotaurs has a berserk skill! Airi use your full power! The people with [Arch] classes and lower, move back and prepare your strongest Ability!"
Arthur shouted out
The class moved back while Sora, Riku, Kanako and Haruto supported Airi in defeating the now berserk Minotaur.
It was already Severely injured so they were able to kill it pretty quick.
"Good job! You have defeated your first Mini-boss in a rather efficent way. Come, lets go back and spend a few days resting."
Arthur instructed them and walked towards the entrance, he had stored the minotaur and every other monster's bodies inside his spatial bag. It was just like storage rings in cultivation novels.
They were about to leave when the ground shaked wildly, massive steps resounded out in the hall. The sound was definately from a huge and strong monster judging from the steps so far.
"Stand behind me! This is too dangerous for you guys, leave it to me and Zeek."
Arthur still looked clam though, He stepped infront of the class while Zeek stood behind him.
Soon the Monster reached them.
It is a 25 meter tall, white and red furred Minotaur with 4 pointy horns instead of 2, spikes growing everywhere on it's body.
*RROOOAAARRR*
It's roar was multitudes louder than the Mini-Boss earlier.
Arthur's and Zeek's face instantly went grim.
"Dammit! Everyone RUN AWAY Right now!! It's a High Ranked C!"
Arthur cried out, him and Zeek couldn't take on a high ranked C monster right now.
The class tried to run but they couldn't move their bodies, except for Sizuin but he acted like it when he saw everyone froze.
"Damn! It activated it's {petrify gaze}! You stall him while i free the chosen ones"
Zeek said to Arthur in a serious voice. Arthur simply nodded, he may be a rat but right now the people who he was assigned to take care of was facing a disaster. If the hero died, he would be tortured to the extreme.
Arthur charged at the Giant Minotaur while Zeek lifted the spell one by one, Sizuin made sure nobody paid attention to him then moved to the people who were already freed.
Eventually everyone started running at their top speed while Arthur slowly moved back, making sure to not get the class caught in the fight.
The minotaur suddenly slam Arthur with a punch and sended him flying past the class. Arthur was beaten unconscious. The class faltered for a short second but this was enough time for the minotaur to catch up.
It sends a punch towards the group but a magic sheild blocked it, Zeek then sends a compressed water jet.
"{Typhis Stream}!" (A/N: Typhis means water)
It made the Minotaur stop his advance but it didn't push it back either, Zeek would just end up dead when his mana runs out.
"GO! RUN NOW"
"S-Sensei! Your gonna die!"
"We need to all stay together! We can't let you die!"
Airi and Riku said.
"Just leave! you guys can just come back here and avenge me when your stronger okay? Now leave!"
Airi tried to say more but Kanako shakes her head, hold her hand and leads everyone to the exit.
"NO! We need to save Sensei! He's going to Die!!"
Airi continued to protest
"EVEN IF WE GO BACK, WE CAN'T DO ANYTHING! Airi we're too weak."
"We'll just die if we don't escape."
Haruto and Sora told the hard truth about the situation.
"We'll just need to get stronger right now, we can't do anything right now, we need to survive right now Airi."
Kanako supported everyone else.
Airi look at Sizuin but Sizuin simply shakes his head. The sheltered and naive girl finally saw a glimpse of what the reality is. Everyone continued to run up the floors while hearing faint roaring in the background.
They finally reached the first floor but before they could feel relief, someone pointed out something.
"Hey, why is there no more roaring?"
The whole class instantly had a bad prediction.

Their predictions were right. The minotaur was coming this way and fast.
"Quick! get to the exit now! It can't follow us outside the lybrinth!"
The class sprinted for their lives with grim faces, no one talked about it but they knew that Zeek was dead.
The once alive instructor that had tought them many things was now deceased, they were incredibly sad but now was not the time to have these feelings.
Half of the class had already left the lybrinth but the minotaur was very close.
Only 3 people were left inside by the time the minotaur had caught up, it was Sizuin and 2 other [Great Magician].
"HURRY UP!"
"RUN FASTER!"
"THERES ONLY A FEW METERS LEFT!"
People from the class shouted out outside the tiny gap inbetween the doors, just enough for humans to fit in.
Sizuin knew that he could make it even with his suppressed stats but the other 2 wouldn't. So, he stops and grabs the 2 and throws them towards the door.
"CLOSE THE DOOR!"
"NOOO!!! DON'T DIE SIZUIN!"
Airi shouted out in desperation. She tried to save him but Riku and Sora grabbed her, Riku knew that his bestfriend was going to die but he couldn't see anyone else dying. He saw the look in Sizuin's eye and knew that he wanted everyone else to live, Sizuin was always kind in school.
As much as it pains everyone else, the class closed the door before the minotaur could get out.
The door was specially made to not let any monsters out and it shows it's sturdiness when bangs echoed out. The minotaur that had destroyed everything and everyone was stopped by this door.
"NOOOO! WHY DID YOU GUYS CLOSED THE DOOR!!"
"WE ALL WOULD'VE DIED IF WE DIDN'T CLOSE THE DOOR AIRI!"
"No! no! no, no no."
Airi had broken down as she cried while hugging her knees.
Airi was the most affected by Sizuin's death, She was the closest to him, She had talked to him everyday, She knew the most about him, She had loved him...
Everyone had knew about it so the class left her some time alone with Kanako. It was tough for them too when the school's kindest person had sacrificed his life for his 2 classmates that he had barely knew about.
It pained everyone in the class but Sizuin's freinds were the most pained.
They messeged Charles and Anne to pick them up. After this day, they are no longer the same.

Meanwhile, our supposedly kindest dead man was lying down on the ground after being slammed.
"To think that the dungeon core upgrades during our training here and then the new boss showed up at the first mini-boss area. I must be really lucky huh?"
"They should be gone by now, alright step 1 complete. Now step 2, killing this ugly guy."
