I love you too, so let's break up

In the back courtyard of the school, a girl tries to resist a playboys advances on her.

"Go out with me."

A playboy's stereotypical confession.

The female protagonist replied, "Please don't do this to me."

"Do what?"

(1o1) "Everyone knows your reputation for chasing after "hard-to-get" girls only to break up and throw them aside the moment they confess falling for you."

"It's different this time! I fell for you at first sight, and I really really do like you, so please…"

(1o1) "It's the same for me." She said cutting him off. "The first time my eyes laid upon you, I fell for you. When I heard about your reputation, I tried to defend you."

The playboy's eyes glistened as he thought she might like him despite her monotone facial expression.

(1o1) "When the pictures and text messages appeared as evidence, my heart cringed-I-mean-ached. … So spare me my emotions."

With a small slip of the tongue, it was now obvious that all of those words did not come from her heart. She did not love him at all, not now, not before, and most likely... not in the future.

With this reply to his confession, how can he reply? Has this line been used in any typical romantic comedy? How can the jerk...ahem...playboy chase after her now? It will take throwing aside all shame and face to chase her after such a rejection.

"How can you say that without giving me a chance?"

(1o1) "Alright, I'll give you a chance… three, two, o-"

"W-wait… why are you counting down?"

(1o1) "I love you too, so let's break up."

(=_=)"..."

(*=.=) (1v1)

"The playboy is certainly a wise jerk. He decided not to chase after her because he did not want to lower himself any more than during the "confession". Thus, they separated ways… if only it went that way," she thought. (1_1)

With him being a loyal pup, following her every order to make up for his dark and terrible past, she could not refute his efforts in regards to making up for past relationships.

He thought she was a pretty and cute rebel, but her "rejection" made him regretful. I might have gotten her if she was the first girl I met, but she is strangely fixated about wanting a virgin boyfriend.

Several days later, he reflects on himself… I really am a jerk. His buddies were similar to him, and they attempted to harass her for rejecting the playboy with a strange reason. The girls who couldn't catch the playboy's attention bullied her in all sorts of ways because they were his fans, while his ex-girlfriends tried to protect her.

Most of the girls that like him or used to like him don't bully his current "girlfriend" because they pity her. Only freshmen girls or transfer students would bully or ostracize his current girlfriend. Generally, people still like him because they think it isn't his fault that he cannot control the budding and wilting of his feelings of love. They unconsciously blame the victims even though he is in the wrong. This is a story of a narcissistic boy encountering a girl who understands his type in her SARC volunteering. Until he fixes his mindset, he will forever be her friend at best.

Suggestions are welcomed as this is my first time writing a novel. If parts of my writing is unclear or the situation doesn't make sense, feel free to ask in the comments!
