Leaning in Mr. James' Arms

Hearing Kathleen's words, the two bodyguards did not dare to delay any longer. They grabbed Kara and wanted to take her away.

When Kara learned that Kathleen was actually James' fiancée, she was so shocked that she forgot to struggle.

Uncle James was the fiancé Kathleen mentioned?

That was ridiculous. She even hoped that Uncle James would help her fight for the shares of the Quain Group!

Her last hope was ruined by Kathleen. Kara was desperate and her eyes were sour.

Libby who was busy in the kitchen, heard the commotion and ran out. When she saw two strong men trying to catch Kara, she rushed up to push them away.

"Who are you? Why are you taking Miss Kara?"

The two bodyguards looked at Kathleen awkwardly and didn't know if they should continue.

When Kathleen saw Libby, she put away her gloomy and ruthless expression and wore a flattering one. She wanted to grab Libby by her hand, but Libby avoided her.

"Miss Kathleen, you are so bold. You dare to kidnap Miss Kara in Mr. James' villa!"

Libby knew Kathleen. Madam Hemming brought Kathleen to the villa and said that Miss Kathleen was Mr. James' fiancée. However, Mr. James did not give Miss Kathleen a single glance and perfunctorily chased her away.

Mr. James did not like Kathleen, but Kara was a girl personally brought back by Mr. James. Libby could clearly see who was more important.

"Libby, Kara is my cousin. She is young and mischievous. Our family is worried about her. I'm taking her home."

When Kara heard that Kathleen was going to bring her back to the Quain's, she nervously hid behind Libby. Kathleen reached out and grabbed Kara. But Kara slapped her on Kathleen's hand.

Kara was like a desperate little animal, staring at Kathleen with scarlet eyes.

The back of Kathleen's hand was flushed red, and her eyes turned red from anger. Her eyeliner made her look even more vicious

She must catch Kara and beat her up so hard that Kara would kneel on the ground and beg for mercy. She would let Kara know the consequences of disobeying her!

"Capture that woman!"

Seeing Kathleen stop pretending to be a lady and her expression was ferocious and terrifying, Kara was so frightened that she fled.

However, Kara accidentally bumped into a "wall", causing her to feel dizzy and lose her balance.

Kara thought that she would fall. She accepted her fate and closed her eyes. Unexpectedly, her slender waist was held by a long arm. She could smell the familiar faint fragrance of mint.

She opened her eyes in confusion. The wall turned out to be a man's strong chest. She raised her head and saw a handsome face.

It was Uncle James!

Kara leaned in his arms, grievances surging into her heart, tears rolling down her cheeks as she instinctively reached out to hug Mr. James' waist.

When James walked into the villa, Kara's cute little head crashed into his embrace. He had wanted to dodge, but he was afraid that she would fall, so he could only hug her.

Tears were hanging on her long eyelashes. Her fair face turned red from crying. She was like a little kitten, clinging to him.

His heart softened.

However, when he raised his head, he instantly put on a cold expression with a commanding aura.

"Who are you looking for?"

Kathleen got a bad feeling about this. When she saw James picking Kara up, her eyes opened wide in surprise.

Seeing the man she was thinking about all the time putting Kara on the sofa and patting her back to comfort her, she was filled with jealousy.

She secretly glanced at two bodyguards. When she turned around, she put on a sad expression, and said,

"James, we are worried about Kara. I'm taking her home, but..."

Hearing her calling Uncle James, Kara suddenly realized that Kathleen was his fiancé. With a chill coming up from her feet, her face turned pale.
