6 What a coincidence

He stood there smiling and looking directly at me, my heart raced for a moment and I went numb. This time he broke the silence.

"We meet again Miss Lucy". I smile back at him and say,

" Like you said, the world is a small place".

He sat down close to me and ordered a cup a coffee and ask,

"What would you like?"

"Tea is ok by me", I say.

Now I finally meet with the one person have been longing to meet and now am numb, very stupid of me. Have never found a reason to be numb up until now at this moment.

"What are you doing in this area," I ask.

"My apartment is three blocks away," he says.

" Same as my apartment", I say.

How can we be living at same building but haven't met, like is that even possible.

"Damn! really, wow," he says

" How long have you lived there," I ask

"Six months now"

" And we have never met?", I say.

" it's possible though cause I am always travelling, so my girlfriend stays there but for now am around", he says

Did he just say GIRLFRIEND, he's not even single, so have been drooling over a guy who is in a relationship. Ok now am convinced I need to get my heart checked.

" Which room is your apartment", i ask.

" Room 25", he says

"Mine is 19", I say

" We will see often from now and the last time, you said something about really wanting us to talk more and that you owe me", he says.

"I remember maybe next time when we meet cause right now am in a hurry", I say.

"Where are you going to", he asks.

" None of your business, we will see around", I say.

I stood up and walk passed him, I could feel his eyes on me but I didn't care cause I just want to be far away from him, I have developed feelings for a complete stranger and now I feel hurt and disappointed for fantasizing about him all day.
