1 My very own restaurant

Chapter one

I woke up to the sound of my alarm clock, it is 8am and time to get ready for my big day, I am opening my very own restaurant at the outskirt of town and I couldn't help but feel the surge of my excitement.

Having my own restaurant has been my dream since I was a kid and now it's coming through for me. My phone rings. I pick it up to see who it is and it was just as I expected, Joyce.

Joyce: wakey wakey !!

who is excited for her big day

Me: This lovely damsel at this end

( we both laughed )

Joyce : Hope ur getting ready

Me : yeah am almost done

Joyce : I will be there in 30 minutes

Me : No problème

( i ended the call)

Joyce has been a phenomenal friend for years now, she has been there through thick and thin, always standing for me and never against. We knew each other right from college days and ever since, we have been best buddies and she's endear to me.
