5 An unexpected turn

Chapter five

My room has been a mess for days now, books piled up on my nightstand and clothes lying around everywhere.

Lucky for me, it's Sunday, my free day so there's enough time to clean up the mess and attend service.

Wait, on second thought, nahh ain't going for service today, it's better I rest.

After I am done cleaning up, I went straight to my bedroom and lay down to rest. That's when I realized it's been three months ever since I last saw Kyle, I couldn't stop but think of him always, the 30 minutes I spent with him was the best.

I got to find out a little about him, he's calm and very reserved. I'm adamant to meet him to know more.

I didn't even ask of his last name or his contact, it all skipped my mind, maybe it's nature's way of saying we won't meet again, I sigh.

I was asleep for hours and when I woke up, I walk straight to the fridge and to my greatest surprise, there's no sign of food in it, I'm out of groceries and I am already famish, so I have to run to the grocery store.

After the grocery store, I stop at the nearest restaurant close to my house to eat cause I know I'm too hungry to cook.

My phone fell down, underneath the table and am reaching down to get it when someone walks up to me, I can tell it's a man cause of the shoes his putting on.

When I raised my head, guess who I saw, Kyle.
