4 All thanks to Joyce

Chapter four

Joyce ran out from the restaurant and threw her hands on me

" Are you alright?", she asks.

" Yes i am fine, Kyle came to my rescue".

She took a step back and asked

" Who is Kyle?".

" Just someone who offered me a lift when I needed it the most".

" That's so thoughtful of him", she says.

" So do you have any good news for me concerning the restaurant?," I ask, smiling at Joyce and at same time waiting for the big news.

" Definitely, people has been rushing in and trust me, I gave them the meal at a discount price and I promised to give them at a even lower price if they patronize us again", she says.

I'm really excited of the outcome today, this is a good news although I would have really loved to see our first customer, at least today turned out well.

I trust Joyce to have handled everything so I need not worry.

"Let's go in please!!, i am starving", I say.

" Same here babe", she says with a playful frown on her face, we laugh together.

" Bills on me", I say.

I open the glass door at the entrance of the restaurant and oh my world, the customers are unexpected, it's not as if I don't expect them, but on the first day, wow it's unexpected and it's a good sign.

I am overwhelmed with excitement, thanks to Joyce who made this day possible by being supportive of me. I owe her one.
