6 There is no help

Suri quickly briefed the two on the powers of a chilchin. The two took a deep breath. "Damn! To think its body is as tough as magic tungsten? It's so big though!" Feroo commented. However, its beak was even stronger, with the same strength as the magic platinum! Indeed, the chilchin stood at 15 feet tall, looking at them through cracks in the wood.

"PECK!" The sound of wood getting brutally destroyed resounded with each peck. "PECK!"

They had to kill this thing, and quick, before it killed them. Sometimes, there just isn't time for plans. To fight head on is the only choice. But when its flesh is harder than your weapons? To fight seems impossible.

Mothly got his frost fire arrows ready to fire, and suri started casting poison mists with illusion against it. To kill it by piercing its skin clearly is not a viable option, so adjustments were made.

Feroo asked for some frost fire, too, to coat his sword with his. Due to the danger, mothly agreed.

"PECK!" "COO?" The chilchin tore through the wall, and looked inside. An arrow soon landed on its eyelid. The chilchin was angry now. It pecked it full force, trying to make a big enough hole to eat them through. Arrows flew, mists went, yet the damage wasn't even visible. The chilchin was burning from the frost fire, breathing in all the mist, yet it didn't even seem to notice.

Feroo was thinking, he couldn't help attack it, as it was outside, and his sword wouldn't do anything, either, so, he started thinking of a plan. Just what could they do to survive. As he thought more and more, he thought of two things, perhaps one might not work, but with both, they might have a chance. Feroo yelled out, "You guys! Distract the chilchin! Ill Stab it with the sharp side of the magic platinum!" In between her casts, suri said "You can't even lift the platinum! How are you going to stab it with it?" "I'll activate my power!" Feroo replied.

"Also,", feroo continued, "If it gets inside, we can set the base on fire and collapse it to trap it inside!"

Regardless of what was said, the chilchin continued pecking, destroying. Feroo put one hand below the magic platinum, and one hand to hold it. Its rugged edges cut against feroos' hand as he hardly lifted it up the ground. He drew out his power from his bones once more, and through the pain carried it on his side. Silently, or as silently as possible, Feroo ran forwards, through the destroyed wood on the floor, towards the chilchin. When he was close enough, the chilchin moved its attention to him, and went to peck.

"Got him." Feroo said under his breath. He let the magic platinum go and hid behind it. The chilchin's beak smashed against the magic platinum. It soon roared out in pain. It was clearly not used to there being anything its beak couldn't penetrate, and it hit itself at full force at it, barely scratching the magic platinum. "Chance!", Everyone thought.

Mothly took this chance to re-distract this burning chilchin, by firing more arrows towards its eyes. Suri kept creating more and more poison mist, which the chilchin breathed in, but was honestly pretty useless. The chilchin went to peck the wood again, to enlarge the space so it could finally enter the base. Feroo took this chance to charge forwards, letting momentum build up, and he stabbed the beast in its thigh. It drew blood, but it didn't actually go that far in. Feroo then took it back out, ramming it into its foot instead, where the sheer weight of the magic platinum would dig in its food with gravity.

"AAAAARROOOO! AAAAARROOOO! AAAARROOO!" The beast yelled out in pain, as it locked sights with feroo. Feroo quickly removed the magic platinum from its injury so it bled, and ran back in the base through the rubble.

"PECK!" "PECK!" The beast pecked at feroo, who quickly ducked behind the magic platinum each time. Eventually, he just had to stay there as the chilchin couldn't reach him, and it kept pecking at high speeds, ignoring all else. Attacks from mothly and suri kept hitting the beast.

At this moment, the chilchin was enraged. It being attacked? Fine. However, what is this... thing? This thing that's resisting its beak. This material.... that's stronger than its beak? NO! IMPOSSIBLE! It refused to believe that there was anything stronger than its beak. Not in the hands of these puny creatures, not this thing that isn't even alive!

"PECK!"

"PECK!"

Loud pecks resounded several times a second, as the beast pecked at it. As it pecked inside the base, once in a while the sides of its head would hit the wood composing the dome, slightly enlarging it. As the beast was so focused on the material, feroo revealed himself, ready to duck back at a moments notice. However, he had no need to do so, as it kept attacking the magic platinum.

Minutes pass, and small chips of the magic platinum fall off. As that happens, the chilchin's beak is dulling. With readying of his craws, neck, and beak, an extra strong peck was made.

What a sight to behold. The magic platinum cracked open, pieces falling to the floor. As that happened, however, the chilchin's beak snapped off, and the beast stumbled inside the base with the momentum, falling flat, with the hole barely large enough now for it to come inside.

With this, although the beast couldn't eat them, it could still smash them with its claws. Indeed it tried, rushing forwards, angry at the loss of its beak, blaming it on these small humans.

At this, feroo yelled, "Set the base on fire!", and then rushed to defend against the beast. Every hit from it was like a truck, which feroos muscles strained, his bones cracked under the pressure, his sword bent. With this time, mothly collected all this frost fire and set it near the walls of the base. With the concentrated frost fire, the wood eventually caught fire, as he spread the fire along the edges.

At this moment, all of suri's poison finally comes into effect, as the beasts movements grow sluggish and weaker, making feroos job many times easier in defending.

"Destruction!"

Since there was no more point in poisoning it, as it did not have an instant effect, suri attacked the beast with destruction, shards of mystical transparent shrooms hitting the opponent where feroo blocked, helping out feroo.

Eventually, the fire spread over half way to the top of the dome. Obviously, it would collapse soon. Mothly and Suri went inside the underground tunnel, the end of which is collapsed. Feroo ran to the tunnel, the beast in the middle on the base, and feroo stood at the tunnel entrance blocking the monsters attacks. Eventually the the first wooden pillar collapsed.

Seeing that, feroo ran into the tunnel.

The beast stood there, trying to peck through the dirt, as the rest of the pillars collapsed.

The dome collapsed onto the injured beast, burning it further, and trapping it under the rubble.
