4 Help V1.0

The construction had to be rushed. After all, there was just a few hours until night. The actual construction was actually really simple. Mothly cut down the surrounding trees with Feroos' iron axe. While not as fast or strong as feroo, mothly could still cut the surrounding trees at a decent pace, as strength is still needed to use bows.

Suri was in charge of the actual construction, as she could use her mystic ways for this.

"Conjuration!" Suri summoned creatures for the purpose of transporting wood.

"Illusion!" Suri then assisted in the construction with her real illusions.

Her only destruction spell, which summoned phantom-like shrooms was absolutely not a good option to cut.

Time passed

The minutes pass as the construction is slowly being done. The shelter did not have to be amazing, but had to be usable soon.

Hours pass, Mothlys' arms are getting tired, suris' mystic magic has run out and refilled numerous times already, and the shadow of the night is close approaching.

Feroo still hasn't woken up, and at this time, mothly hears a voice.

"Mothly! Stop I don't need more wood the construction is done!" Suri was calling out to mothly.

"Finally", Mothly thought, "My arms are actually killing me…", muttered mothly.

Mothly turned around for the first time in hours, and a better-than-expected sight.

Mothly saw the base….

A large dome could be seen. This was the base. The outside was littered with spikes, all even from each other. None was actually the same size as any other, neither was any particularly sharp. However, they looked plenty intimidating.

All around the dome, were wooden protrusions helping the dome be grounded.

Mothly walked inside, the entrance being blocked off by a large block of wood which suri had to lift up with a conjuration. The walls and ceiling were all supported with many wooden pillars that supported all sides of the dome, making sure it wouldn't collapse if part of the wall shattered, also making it sturdier to any attacks.

Night is particularly dangerous in the outside…. Daytime may have made it seem pretty safe, but that is misleading.

While the dome was made to keep the people inside safe, equally or more focus was put into ease of escape. While the dome is hoped to hold out, anything could happen in the night, and the dome is not actually expected to hold.

An underground passage was already made, a door into the floor, leading to a narrow underground passageway. To prevent danger from the other side, it is actually not done. It it has to be used, the point is to break out the top with pure power and magic.

In the middle, was the piece of magic platinum. Next to it, a table to craft, a simple, wooden chair to sit on, and a primitive furnace of stone and wood.

Around, were wooden stools, simple, wooden blocks to sit on.

Feroo was still unconscious, lying on the magic platinum.

"This is actually pretty good.", said Mothly. Suri nodded, and asked if mothly could take night watch first. Mothly naturally agreed, and as that nod was made, it was officially night.

As suri laid on the ground to sleep, she suddenly remembered something. She looked at mothly and said, "By the way…. I name this base… Help V1.0"

.....

Night was relatively peaceful so far. Shrieks and growls could be heard from the outside, but no attack was made on Help. Mothly was not being useless while on watch though, as the faster the magic platinum was used, the better their lives would be.

See, apart from just being many times stronger than the normal material, the main reason they are called magic is due to their special properties. When properly used as armor, instead of just defending the part where you have the armor on, the protection actually spreads through your entire body, and any damage taken is actually spread throughout your entire body too. Once equipped, the armor itself also doesn't get damaged until it's no longer equipped. This has actual reasons for it, but at the very least, these three don't know. To not have weak points…. that is truly a magic material.

Through the night, mothly was busy crafting a pickaxe. His fingers are dexterous enough to craft, but there's no useable metal, so just everything else is being made, as it will eventually be used to remove parts of the magic platinum. It won't be easy though, as although raw magic platinum like this is weaker than refined magic platinum, Its harder than mining pure steel.

A few hours later, in the dead of night, a slight groan was heard from inside. Mothly was instantly startled, but found it was just feroo waking up. Feroo slowly awoke, and as he did, he looked around himself, comprehending the situation. Seeing suri sleep, it was easy to guess it was night.

Feroo started, "Sorry, I must have given you guys a lot of trouble, huh?"

Mothly went to the floor and got into a sleeping position, as he pointed to where he used to be sitting, motioning for feroo to sit down and take over night watch.

"My arms are dying, i'm here with sleep deprivation, suri had no more mana left and I blame it on you." After that, everything fell silent.

Feroo was sitting on the stone stool, and he began to examine his own body.

His muscles felt exceptionally tired, with pain resounding even from his bones. However, rather than uselessness, he felt rather, as if he had potencial in his body that could be unleashed at anytime. Feeling further, he felt something wiggling in his bones, something, odd.

Scared, he quickly focused on the feeling, but then felt it was something he could control, a sort of energy. He focused on the energy, and tried drawing it out. As it touched his muscles, they cried further in pain, but feroo felt as if there were natural pathways in his body which this energy is meant to be in, somewhere he's not taking the energy.

He starts focusing, moving the energy through his internal pathways, making many errors along the way, injuring himself, and his energy reserves slowly depleting, but not for good, he felt an increase in strength, along with… a sort of a primal fury. The strength increase was perhaps just a bit, but it could still be felt.

Interesting… he thought as he stopped circulating his energy.

...…..

Hours pass, and if a clock could be checked, it was 3AM, not that late. At this point, many footsteps could be heard from afar.

"Damn!" Feroo quickly got up, and went outside, pushing the boulder blocking the entrance. Outside, was a stampede of zombies heading straight towards their base!
