After Duan Li went to the prison, he returned back to his residence court to inform his followers that he will be leaving to go to the Doulou Empire soon.
Initially, they wanted to come along but after Duan Li explained the identity that he will be using in order to enter the Doulou Empire without exposing his real status, they knew that they wouldn't be able to tag along no matter how much they try to insist.
Exchange student? They were not even qualified for that! Furthermore, there can only be one exchange student at a time in a foreign academy!
Since their Lord was not using his status as the Imperial Overseer, it would be highly suspicious for a group of students to arrive together in a faraway land as if it were some sort of a school trip!
Specifically, a bunch of school kids can't possible survive the uninhabitable lands they needed to traverse in order to reach the Doulou Empire!
Thus, Duan Li reassured them that they need not to worry so much as he will bring them all to the Third region of the Eternal Maze next time. Hearing this, they quickly adjusted their mindset to cultivate even harder!

Seeing him off, Duan Li paid the principal a visit once more to get his exchange student identity token that should already be finished by now.
"Since you are an exchange student there, we will send someone along with you as your guardian for the formality." the principal said.

The door behind him opened, revealing a familiar figure that was smiling widely at Duan Li with his arms folded on his chest!
"Wang Dong?" Duan Li's mouth was wide open, feeling shocked beyond words!
Out of all the people that he could think of that the principal would sensibly pick as a suitable guardian for him, never in his wildest dream did he expect Wang Dong to be the one here instead!
He wasn't even at the bottom of the list!

Duan Li almost keeled over to the floor.

Has the heavens finally collapsed? Did the principal lost his eyesight and become blind? Did the vice-principal suddenly turned dumb and used his kneecaps to think instead?
If Wang Dong were to become his guardian, wouldn't the roles between them reverse knowing the latter's personality?

As the Doulou Empire was a place where spiritual Qi was abundant, Duan Li must display later that it was for that reason that he was sent there as an exchange student other than his boundless talent!
He then continued, "It is for this matter that your name there will also be changed to Wang Li so that you become part of the Wang clan as your background, a prodigy of the clan in fact!"
Wang Li? The name doesn't sound too bad but.. wouldn't the real prodigy of the Wang clan be disheartened and indignant if he or she were to hear that their title was snatched by someone else?
The principal sighed regretfully as he glanced at Wang Dong and further added, "Unbelievable as it seems, we all know by now that Wang Dong is the next heir to the Wang clan, so although he isn't that important in terms of status yet, just that identity alone would be able to make most people not want to mess with you."
Exchange students would almost always get the attention and envy of the students in the foreign academy they were in. After all, becoming an exchange student was a symbol of one's talent and official acknowledgement as the top genius itself, and some might be unconvinced with it and will try to challenge them!
Therefore, if one's background and guardian were not powerful enough to be a deterence against bullying, the exchange student will never have peace in studying abroad!
With Wang Dong's identity that were not too striking nor too lackluster, there was a high chance that their presence there would not cause too much of an attention. Otherwise, Duan Li's disguise would be found out by people who were interested to know more about him!
"Remember, you MUST be low profile and try not to cause too much trouble while you are there! Once you find out the location where your mother and aunt was kidnapped to, take action immediately before you are discovered!" reminded the principal seriously.
This was because they don't have any crucial information about the whereabouts of the kidnappers, and these evil people would quickly leave once they realized Duan Li was there!
"Un!" Duan Li nodded in agreement. Regardless of whatever means he have to persevere with, rescuing his mother and aunt was the top priority over everything else!
"Before you leave though, how do you plan on using Zeng Jianshi? You know its impossible to trust anyone in the Dark Sect..." the vice-principal asked curiously.
Dark Sect was a sect filled with vile people to their very bone marrow and soul, and their words should never be trusted no matter how truthful they seemed or accurate the information they gave!
Duan Li's eyes flashed viciously that caused the atmosphere around them to seethe and tremble at this mention, making the principal, vice-principal and Wang Dong swallow their saliva in nervousness.
"He thought that being held captive while holding the information I need would secure his life, but even if the heavens itself were to try and save him, he will still die in the end!" Duan Li answered coldly.
There was not a hint of pity in his heart for the Dark Sect members. They ran around causing countless suffering to others for a very long time, thus he made it his goal to kill each and every single one of them that he finds!
Bidding farewell, Duan Li and Wang Dong took the express airtrain to arrive at the edge of the Jiu Empire, the Blastwinter desert!
The journey would take around 2 hours and while he could arrive almost instantaneously using his teleportation ability, Duan Li needed that time in order to do something which was immersing himself analyzing the inner workings of his body using the All-Seeing Eye ability.
"If my disguises were to be perfect, I will have to adjust which meridians and Qi pathways that are active.." Duan Li thought as he quickly adjusted his inner organs to fit someone from the Wang clan based on his observation of Wang Dong.
Additionally, he also decided to seal two of his dantians when he arrive at the Doulou Empire later, where one was inside his brain and the other near his solar plexus.
After all, no matter how normal he felt like cultivating all three of his dantians should be, it was proven that others definitely did not share this opinion of his wherever he went to!
After arriving at the Blastwinter desert, Duan Li then summoned some of his wooden boxes and used them to form a huge cone shield that could protect two people from the inside.

"Eh? What's this for Brother?" Wang Dong asked curiously.
"This is to let us travel in the air much faster. You realize the resistance in the air is what limits your flying speed right?" Duan Li replied.
Because teleporting requires Duan Li to either see the destination by his own eyes or through recalling it in his mind, Duan Li thought that flying while teleporting would be much more efficient!
He then explained the concept behind the cone shield that acts like a drill to burrow efficiently in the air as opposed to the drill used for drilling and mining the caves!
"I don't really get it but... if it lets us fly much faster, then why not? Bahahahaha!"
This simple reply from Wang Dong made Duan Li sigh.
"Okay then, let's go! Place both of your hands on my shoulder respectively. I'm going to travel at maximum speed, so you would do better to strengthen your grip!"
Wang Dong did as he was told, but before he could even reply, Duan Li had already started accelerating at ludicrous speed!
