Chapter Ten: Instruct me

"Red, you have to try."

Why is Kell so patient with me right now? I have to reply but I can't sound weak.

"But what if...what if it doesn't work? What if I end up sending him to his grave even faster?" Hah! So much for not trying to sound weak. Who am I kidding? Ah, whatever. 

"Yin Yang"

Those two words that he said did it for me. I realized that what he meant was that I could somehow actually heal him. But I would have to swap my powers with him…

"How" Was all I could say. And he proceeded to explain.

"Close your eyes. And. Find out for yourself."

He said smirking

"You! Are you serious?! You can't just give me an answer like that!"

"Just did. But your right. I am serious. I'm not the one who was born with crazy powers and nonetheless a crazy personality."

"Is that your best insult in this kind of situation?"

"Just hurry up and do as I told you. Your friend here is dying. Aint ya buddy?"

He said to Laci. Who was literally laying on the counter. And then said

"See, he aint replyin"

"Why would you put him one the counter?"

"Well, with the time that your waistin he might as well and be wrapped up like a mummy or chopped up for a bbq. Either way it wouldn't be cannibalism.

"If you dare even touch a hair on his skin or come as close as 6ft to him I swear to Mother Earth, freaking El Niño, dumb squat La Niña, and to all that is holly, I will tourter you until Im tired of hearing your screams"

"Oh come on sweetheart, you wouldn't do that to me, now would you?"

"Enough of this bull crap! I got something to do."

I closed my eyes just as he had instructed -which wasn't much but either way I hoped this worked- and all I did was to keep saying the same words in my head. Switch powers,  switch powers, switch powers, switch powers, switch powers, switch powers, switch powers, switch powers. I think it's starting to work! Haha! Yes! I feel like I'm falling though. Whatever, I have to ignore it and get this done.
