Chapter Fourteen: Go "New Update"

I have to get ready for the day after tomorrow. I should pack hand made weapons instead of making them with my powers since they had been cut off over there. I'm glad that the sword that I use the most wasn't made with powers. I have to find my holster for it though. It should be in the storage room. I got out of bed and went out of the visitors room at Kell's house and headed down stairs towards where I remembered the storage room being. Most of my things are here since I basically spend my whole time around here and if I need something I'll just come to Kell's house. I found my holster and shut the door to the storage room. As I was turning around I saw Laci wandering through the house. 

"Laci, what are you doing awake at this hour? Didn't Kell say that you could stay in one of the other rooms?"

"Ah, Red. I didn't see you there. I was just thinking of what to pack and stuff. I was planning to pack everything today and use tomorrow to sleep and tell Tony of what-"

I found it funny that we were planning to do the exact same thing except for the last part. He stopped mid-sentence so I decided to ask a question

"Who's Tony?"

"He's the friend I was telling you guys about"

"I see. Can he fight?"

"Red!"

"What. I was just asking cause I don't want him dying over there. It's dangerous. We all have to be ready, mentally, and physically."

"Well, o-of course he does"

He hesitated. I stared at him. Why was he going to bring someone who couldn't defend himself. 

"Just take care of him"

I don't really know why I'm so calm. But it's best that I stay this way.

"Tell him as soon as possible. K Lacy?"

"On it"

He said as he walked out of the house and into the bar where he first appeared. I have to find my other things.
