Ch 2:3

Crystal walked over to Lolli's room long after the Sun had gone down. Lolli had prepared a pile of random snacks in the center of the room. Crystal took a seat on Lolli's bed." Hi Crystal! I bought us some movies to watch from home! The King told me how to use them with the orb thing!" Lolli said, holding up a large box. Crystal nodded with a long yawn." Honestly, I'm too exhausted to finish one of those. But put it on anyways. I'm going to sleep." Before Lolli could protest, Crystal was already getting under the covers." But you're going to miss Iowa!" Lolli grumbled. She turned on a movie anyways.

In between the scenes displayed on the orb's surface, Lolli would glance out the window. After one or two films, Lolli ended up falling asleep. During this time, Iowa decided to make an appearance. Iowa first poked Lolli awake and was greeted with a hug." You're finally here! And I brought Crystal just like you asked!" Lolli said. Lolli then followed Iowa's orders to wake the sleeping princess. At first, she was groggy. But after seeing Iowa, Crystal shot out of bed. "What is that- who is that and why are they in here?"

"Relax Princess, I only have a favor to ask you. Or actually, two things." Crystal scoffed as Iowa inched over." You woke me up to help some stranger?"

"Isn't it your job to help the people in your kingdom?"

"Just tell me what you want."

"I want you to take me to find the Grim Reaper. And also, I want you to heal my injuries."

"Is that why you're wrapped like a mummy?" Lolli interrupted.

"What the hell do you mean by 'Grim Reaper?' You want me to find death for you?"

"You don't know about the reapers yet? The King is already lacking."

"Okay, how about you inform me? Maybe then I'll heal you." Iowa grumbled, but decided to explain.

"Reapers take souls of dead people. And they accidentally took mine. So I want it back."

"Doesn't that mean you're dead?" Crystal said accusingly.

"No, I'm not dead! Clearly not. Clearly.."

"I guess I'll have to heal you now," Crystal sighed. She placed her hands on Iowa's glowing chest. Then they waited.

"Crystal, what are you doing?" Lolli asked.

"I never really learned how to heal people yet," Crystal whispered. Iowa scoffed and stepped away from the princess." Then I came here for no reason."

"I'm sorry, Mister Iowa," Lolli said.

"No, it's fine. I'll just come back once the Princess isn't so useless."

"Who are you calling useless?"

"You, since you can't do your one job."

Lolli watched as her two new friends went back and forth. Then, she grabbed a bag of chips from off the floor and offered it to them." Stop fighting and eat snacks with me, please!" Crystal snatched the bag and started stuffing her face. Iowa stared at her.

"What, do you want some?" Crystal asked.

After getting no response, Crystal held the bag in Iowa's direction. Iowa grabbed a handful and turned away. There was a quiet munching then a "thank you" followed.
