2 Ch 0:2

Lolli leaned on one of the many rows of lockers to open up her bag. Inside were, besides the previously mentioned plush, some notebooks and a crumpled up piece of paper. Lolli grabbed the paper and slipped back on her bag. The paper had her school schedule on it. She used it to find her first class. Then her second. Then third. After that, it was time for lunch.

Lolli chose a table next to another that seemed quite loud. There sat multiple girls who seemed to be having a very heated conversation. Lolli scooted to the edge of her own empty table to listen properly.

"I'm telling you, I don't care if you think toys are childish! These aren't ordinary toys!" One girl- a blonde- exclaimed.

"Who cares if they're 'ordinary' or not? They're still toys!" Another said. The first girl huffed," my Mother paid good money for my set of toys. Clearly you're too poor to understand them."

Lolli's eyes shone with determination. She knew many things about toys, and she was ready to show the crowd why they weren't just for kids. She stood and walked the single foot distance between the tables." Toys are for everyone! Some of them are really cool!" Lolli said. The blonde seemed confused at first, but quickly nodded. The other girls laughed at the pair." Seriously Crystal? You need a baby to defend your baby-ish hobbies?" One said.

"It takes a lot of hard work to make a toy! You couldn't make one even if you tried!" Lolli said.

"Now why would I do that? I don't want to make a thing."

"Then you don't know how cool toys can be!" The girl snickered.

"Listen you Baby. I know Mommy got you a lot of presents last year, but they really aren't worth much." Then, the whole table erupted in laughter, except for Lolli and the blonde. The latter felt her face become hot and she looked down. After their amusement died down, the group continued to talk and eat. The blonde stayed silent.

Soon, it was time for the students to return to their classes. Lolli spent the rest of the day half listening to her teachers and half daydreaming about how to make the blonde girl from lunch her friend. Clearly, she was in a higher grade than Lolli; she was much taller and hadn't arrived to any of Lolli's classes. She would have to look for the girl after school. When the final bell rang, Lolli dashed out the classroom to scan the growing sea of students in the halls. It wasn't until she escaped the building that she saw the girl she was looking for. Lolli found the blonde being ushered away by a tall man. He also had the pale blonde hair as the girl. Lolli squirmed past the other students and towards her target." Hey, girl who likes toys! Wait for me!" The girl glared back at Lolli.

"My name is Crystal, and don't follow me! I'm going home," she said. Lolli frowned and continued to follow Crystal until the man made them both stop. He turned to also glare at Lolli." Little girl, did you schedule a play date with my daughter? No, you did not. So leave us alone at once!" The man said, furrowing his brows before analyzing all of Lolli's features. Lolli huffed, but did as she was told. She walked back to her home, which was in the opposite direction.
