4 4. System
The 1st Gates finally appear which means magic power finally spreads on Earth. The spreading of magic power then causes a phenomenon that changes humans' lives forever, Awakening. With the spreading of magic power from the Gates, a lot of humans start to absorb it and awaken mysterious power.

Indra is one of those 1st awakened individuals who have absorbed the magic power. But unlike the other awakeners that can't grow, Indra can get stronger with the help of the system given by Jin Woo before his reincarnation. It is activated when the magic power spreading from the Gates enters Indra's body.

Indra doesn't know the reason and doesn't want to investigate further. He just thinks that maybe it's because he has trained his body as a martial artist who has learned Muay Thai for years. So maybe the system doesn't want to waste his effort and distribute his stats like this on his awakening.
'Well, I'm grateful to the system if that's really the case because it means my years of training are truly useful for me.'

'HOLY SHIT! This Muay Thai skill is incredible. It's a cheat skill on its own. But this Longevity, I don't remember the name and I don't think it was a skill, but it should be Jin Woo's. Did he give it to me as a passive skill? Well, I'm very grateful for that, and it makes me know that level 10 is the maximum for skills. Also, Magic Power Concealment, it will help me stay hidden until I have enough power to reveal myself.'
Indra plans to reveal his power once he becomes an S-Class so he doesn't need to say he reawakens when he gets stronger because Hunters don't get stronger once they awaken.

[Sprint: Increase movement speed by 30%. Consuming 100 mana per second. Increasing Fatigue by 5 per second.]
[Stealth: Hiding player's body & presence. Consuming 100 mana to activate and 100 mana per second to maintain.]
He only gets 2 active skills, but it should be enough at his current level. Jin Woo & Odin said he will get more skills as he grows stronger. They can't give him too many skills at once because his body won't be able to handle it, after all.
Indra needs to make a plan on how to get stronger quickly.
'Maybe now is a good chance to get myself some XP while everyone is still confused by the Gates.'
The government has dispatched the military and police to guard the Gates. They want to prevent civilians from getting closer while they try to understand what these Gates are. However, unawakened people can't enter the Gates, so they won't get that much information.
'It will be really bad if the Gates are opening because they don't kill the monsters inside after a week. Awakeners should have appeared, but maybe they are also confused because they received power so suddenly. Maybe they will only understand why they get their power when monsters pour out of the Gates, but many people will die first. I can't save everyone, but at least I'll try to clear the dungeons nearby to help people and get myself some XP.'
Indra plans to clear as many nearby dungeons as he can before the monsters come out of the Gates. But because of school, he can only do it at night. It's also to avoid being found out by his family because clearing a dungeon can take a long time and he can get injured. So it will be hard to hide it during the day.
'If I clear them fast enough, I can go home quickly and sleep to recover myself with Longevity skills.'
Then just like that, Indra goes to the closest Gate to his house after his whole family falls asleep. The Gate is 3 km from his house and it's located in an intersection, making the roads get blocked. The police and military also guard the area to prevent civilians from approaching closer.
Indra needs to avoid the police and military if he wants to enter the Gate. Luckily, it's easy to get near the Gate because there are many people coming to see the Gate. Humans indeed have a scary level of curiosity that they disregard their safety just to see the Gate.
But because of the onlookers, Indra can get closer easily by blending in. People only see him as a curious teenager and no one will say anything unless he crosses the police line. So Indra can see the Gate without any problem.
'Eh?'
Suddenly, Indra notices something in the map that's created by his Mapping skill. It is a passive skill, so the map is always active and updated as he moves. He can control the map's position and size, so he doesn't realize the change earlier because he made it small and put it in the corner of his sight.
Now he expands it and sees 3 small green dots and 1 bigger blue dot. He clicks on them in his mind and words appear on them. The green dots are surprisingly awakened people while the blue dot is the Gate and they all have been ranked.
'A C-Rank and 2 E-Rank awakeners. As for the Gate, it's E-Rank.'
It doesn't seem like the 3 awakeners will try to enter the Gate. Maybe they are also just curious like the other spectators or they get attracted to the Gate as awakeners. Well, it doesn't matter why they are here as long as they don't bother him.
After checking his surroundings, Indra activates his Stealth skill and enters the Gate without being detected as no one can see him while he is in the Stealth state. He keeps maintaining his Stealth even after getting inside the dungeon in case there are monsters nearby.
"Woah! This is amazing."
This dungeon is simply just a cave, but the atmosphere is very different from normal caves. There are torches planted on the walls to illuminate the dungeon. Indra tried to take a torch and it came off easily. He tries to put off the fire but it won't go off at all.
"The fire must be made of magic, that's why there's no smoke or smell coming out of it."
He tries putting the torch in his inventory and it works. When he takes it out, the fire is still blazing as strongly as before. This means he can store fire in his system inventory although he doesn't know if it will work with normal fire.
"Hmm, I guess I'll store a few torches later in case I find a dungeon without any illumination in the future."
Indra moves deeper into the dungeon while keep looking at the map created by his Mapping skill. This skill can detect all magic sources like monsters, Gates, and awakeners. So he uses it to find the monsters and he finds them soon.
