Kiana walked into her one room apartment and fell into her couch..."wow..what a stressful day " she said bringing out the green gem and examining it again.
"you live alone?" a tiny female voice asked startling Kiana
"whose there?" she said staring around
" hi am Terri" the voice said again appearing in front of Kiana...
"who?" Kiana asked terrified "what are you and why are you here?" she added
Terri looked confused as she starred at Kiana "but... you brought me here" she said
"me... how..." Kiana said and starred at the green gem and then back Terri
"you get it now"Terri smiled " we are going to be very good friends"
" you are a beast!" Kiana yelled
" No...No am a shape shifter, I live in that gem" Terri replied pointing at the green gem
"Look I don't know or care what you are am handing you to the 9Xforce immediately"
"please don't.. that man would find me and torture me to harness my powers"Terri cried
"what man?" Kiana asked
"His kept me prisoner for a long time but you've set me free today" she smiled
Kiana starred confused, what man would want to use a shape shifters and for what. "she's clearly making this up... Six said the supermarket attendant was possessed maybe not by a beast but a shape shifter yes maybe she was the one who possessed that man, I mean look at where I saw the gem" she said to herself
" Shape shifters can't possess people but we can read minds" Terri smiled
"how dare you read my mind without my permission" Kiana said frustrated

"You are not a human so I can't trust you...but I won't make any rash decision.. you can stay here for now" Kiana said Immediately regretting her statement.
First day as trainee felt so extraordinary to Kiana as she stood with the other trainees.
"I am Trans Fox, a Class 2 member of the 9Xforce and would be the captain in charge of this trainee camp and I'll be assisted by Lira Wallers" A tall dark skinned man stated
" Hi am Lira Wallers a Class 1 member of the 9Xforce ... I wish you all success in this camp" Lira smiled
"your dorm number is on your slip, make your self conformable...classes resumes first thing tomorrow morning" Fox noted

"so we're roommates" A young girl with short curly hair said "Am Tessy"

"there are two bunks" Kiana pointed out
"I guess we are expecting two others"
"Hi" A tall dark skin girl said coming into the room with an oddly looking girl
"Am Marbel and this is Amber"
"Hi" Kiana and Tessy said in unison
"Nice rock" Amber said pointing towards the gem that glowed in Kiana's bag
"That's not a rock...that a shape shifters gem" Marbel noted

" I have one..." Marbel said raising a red gem " got it from my pa, he got it a long time ago"
"Oh ... just saw mine on the sidewalk, didn't know what it was before" Kiana smiled
"Is having it illegal?" Tessy asked
" Not really,shape shifters are harmless but their gem contain a lot of power and so many people want to harness that power...for many years my pa had protected them ... well until....until his tragic end" Marbel replied
"Oh ... sorry" Kiana and Tessy said
