Clear, fresh unpolluted breeze blew past the street and a luxurious carriage drive through the streets, shaking occasionally as the wheels hit a few potholes on the stone tiled road.

Every now and then, the dirty kids playing in the street would pursue the carriage while giggling as they couldn't catch up to it.

"Too fresh." Alvian muttered as he inhaled deeply through the window of the carriage. It has been 24 hours since he had arrived to this world.

His appearance had completely changed completely, different from his normal appearance. His cold as ice expression had changed, replaced by a face that seem more used to smiling.

It was though he had reincarnated into body of a completely different person which was exactly what had happened. He had somehow taken possession of this young master's body and was expected to complete the mission.

But his items are still with him but this world was really weird.

And from what he had gathered so far, this world wasn't too advanced in technology in the least. He had his suspicion when his Glock had been confiscated doting the transfer but now he was very sure he was in some old era without technology.

He wasn't really sure if there might be magic or something of the sort in this world but the disappearance in his supposed household couldn't be explained at all.

Which brings us back to where he was coming from. He was just coming from the Watchmen's Station(1) to personally report the disappearance of his family members and servants.

His father had told him to personally head over there. Showing his face there would show them the gravity of the situation and would make the Watchmen take the matter serious since he was the golden son of the Zhen family.

Contrary to expectation, no one was went with him to investigate the matter. They had sent him back saying they would visit the household for investigation which was the same excuse the Watchmen had given for the past week without actually doing it.

Multiple plans passed through his mind in a flash but all of his plans required him to physically investigate the disappearance himself but what other choice does he have.

The Manor was very huge, the entire land of the Manor going up to an entire kilometer. The servant's quarters and other quarters such as the guard quarters were built differently, slightly further away from the main Manor.

"Young master, we are home already." A young maiden servant spoke as she curtly bowed her head and open the door to the carriage.

The maid was a young girl not older than 16. Her perky chest stood out as it seem to be over sized from her small stature. From her expression, she seem to be afraid of this young master of hers judging by her nervous expression.

From the memories he had inherited, Alvian was aware that the previous young master was just a useless young master and a plain example of debauchery.

Normally, the young master would have pressed the young maiden's chest a few times but Alvian was different.

Not taking a second glance at the young lady, Alvian got down from the carriage before him was a large beautiful mansion. Although the mansion's structure wasn't as good looking as those on earth, it's structure was study and was beautiful in its own way.

In front of the Manor, third aunt sat there impatiently waiting for something or someone.

"Young lord is back!" One of the servants yelled joy and then went inside the Manor to report.

Third Aunt immediately stood up from her seat and quickly walked towards Alvian in quick stops.

"Zhen Chen, you are finally here!" The third aunt sighed in relief as she held his hands, not noticing his gaze which turned extremely cold in that moment nor the flying dot that extended fro his sleeves down to his palm.

"How was the report? What did the watchmen say? Are they finally going to come and investigate?" She impatiently bombarded him with questions.

Alvian nonchalantly glanced at his third aunt and he could remember everything about her.

The third aunt was no different from Zhen Chen's real mother. As his real mother has been long dead, the widow third aunt filled the space of mother for him.

His father married three wives, three sons and five daughters but Zhen Chen was the eldest son of the family, resulting in him been overly spoilt which eventually turned him into a useless debauchery over the years.

Everyone seem to have given hope in him and maybe his father Zhen Tian included. The memory was like a flash and it came to Alvian in a rush.

"Let's go inside Aunt, the cold here isn't too good for you." Alvian replied as he knowingly glanced at the servants and guards who perked up their ears to listen.

Hearing this, the third Aunt seem to have regained her senses she immediately calmed down. She knew what Alvian was intending to say without him a saying it in full sentence.

There was already unrest in the entire household, with the disappearance of five people, four servants and the second sister included.

Matters at this point is very delicate and a slight thing could trigger the servants, letting them riot and escape the Manor in tow. This was something Alvian didn't wish since it would signify the end of the mission, ending in failure.

Everyone was aware that the eldest son had personally gone to Watchmen Station to complain and were waiting for his good news.
