Reading the last piece of information, after clicking on the button, Alvian opened his door and then walked right into it.

There was a sudden blinding flash of light after which, a feeling of rapid descent overtook him. Feeling light headed, Alvian staggered slightly.

"Hey, watch you step!" a male voice said with anger from behind him.

"Are you okay?" A soothing voice asked right beside him.

Shaking his head to get rid of the dizziness he was feeling, Alvian didn't bother replying the two people. It was as though he hadn't heard their voices in the first place.

He squeezed his eyes and then slowly opened them to look around. It was then he realised that he was still within the elevator, still going for the job interview Dr Sydney had gotten for him.

Alvian's eyes then narrowed automatically upon realising this, he opened his phone and checked the time, only five seconds had passed.

'Was it all a realistic illusion?' Alvian thought but then, he shook his head. As someone who could deliberately deceive his own mind to be delusional, he knew the difference between illusions and reality.

Like for example, this world he was in. Immediately he thought of this, the iron metallic sheet trembled, almost like a glitch and the people around him within the elevator all seem to strangely turn expressionless.

Their bodies turned stiff and like robots, they turned around slowly to gaze at him as though he was some kind of being not wanted in the least.

A noticing this, a not so visible faint smirk appeared at the corner of his lips however, his countenance regained it's usual aloof nature as though he hadn't noticed the strangeness he took in a deep breath, closed his eyes back and then opened them.

"I'm alright, thanks." He replied back to the lady.

Right as he opened his eyes, the lady smiled at him. "Okay, if you say so." She then faced back to the front, completely ignoring Alvian and walked out as soon as she reached her floor

The other three people also ignored him. Moreover, there wasn't a single sign of their previous weirdness. As if everything that had happened was only a figment of his imagination.

But Alvian knew better. But then, he is totally crazy in the head so everything might just be an illusion to him.

As for the appointment, he hadn't changed his mind about not going, he was still going to attend the Job interview no matter what.

Grabbing his documents, he stood still on the elevator, glanced at the surveillance camera still turned towards his direction and then blinked his eyes while waiting for his floor to come up.

He then gazed at the glass behind him, he was then reminded and pondered deeply. 'Should I tell them?'

It was at this moment he noticed something. He felt something in his eye and blinked his eyes repeatedly. He could feel some sort of thin layer covering his right eye. A very thin and not so easy to feel contact lens over his left eye.

'Not everything was confiscated then.' Alvian tilted his head with a slight smile on his face.

"Status."

His entire status panel showed up, not missing a single thing. It seems this was done to show the Travelers they weren't delusional or crazy and that everything they had experienced within the transworld and the void realm was all real.

But according to Alvian, it wasn't particularly necessary to him.

"Ding!"

The elevator stopped and the doors opened. It was finally Alvian's turn to get out.

According to the direction written on his phone, he walked past several offices and then reached the place where the interview was going to take place.

It was a large spacious room mi different from an auditorium. It looked bigger than any ordinary auditorium you could find at the universities. He opened the glass doer and saw people talking in groups. He gave them a sidelong glance briefly and walked in.

People were taking their seats, so he felt it was okay to do the same. He found an empty seat a bit far from the crowded people and sat down.

Those people seem to go quiet as they seem to stare at him. They then began whispering but Alvian could hear each and every word of there mouths. As a man with Level 4 will power and a 3 levels in perception, this wasn't at all difficult to do.

"Who is that?"

"Is he a model or an actor? Isn't he just too good looking?"

"Right? I also though the same!"

"Is he one of the employees, cause if he is, I'm totally accept this job."

Listening to people whisper about him didn't make him awkward in the least. It only seem to clarify what he thought about them. 'Bunch of higher animals, led by their instincts.'

He shook his head slightly and remained nonchalant. But afterwords, Dr Sydney's words came to mind and with his perception, he could feel the four surveillance camera turned towards him. He shrugged and stood up.

"Hello! My name is Alvian Vlande."
