32 Equipping Carnage!

Alvian was completely indifferent to the warmth. Instead , he clenched his fist and after seeing that it wouldn't decrease his grip strength, he turned the stretched his hands outwards towards the wall.

A rope like object tore through his palm, shooting directly for the wall and with a soft thud, it immediately latched onto the wall.

Alvian's head titled as he pondered. The rope like object wasn't exactly a rope but more like a tongue that looked very strong and seem unbreakable with its elasticity.

Taking his hand back, the tongue that latched tightly to the wall was released and then sucked back in to the gloves.

The skill pretty was pretty much accurate but Alvian needed to test it some more in order to perfectly use it on the battlefield otherwise it would be nothing less than an ornament to him.

Turning to the dagger in the table, Alvian flicked the blade and the dagger flipped into the air. Using his fingers and wrist as control, the blade tire through the air as it rotated and then finally, landed on his grip.

This made Alvian frown slightly. The whole process took 0.15 seconds when it would normally take him half a second to complete which was a plus but the dagger didn't land stably on his palm and instead it wobbled all the way before it stabilized it self.

The weight of the dagger was really off and might actually affect his combat ability but sacrificing a little bit of that for speed, Alvian felt it was a worth while trade.

Sweeping his gaze towards the legendary item on his table, the cloth wasn't all that good looking and neither does it smell good either. But non of those things concerned Alvian as long as the items work perfectly.

Grabbing the sleeveless flesh shirt by the edge, Alvian unhesitatingly put it on. Alvian's waited for a while and at first, nothing of note happened. He was beginning to doubt if something was wrong with the item, his expression twitched and his pupils constructed.

Looking down at the fleshy shirt. The legendary item wriggled around his body and then all of a sudden, it started to merge with his flesh and skin.

Alvian raised an eye brow as the flesh shirt produced numerous tentacles, entering into his body and merging with it.

Just like little snakes, they dug into his skin, sewing themselves along with his torso, shoulder, back and chest.

Since the process had started, Alvian didn't see it fit to stop the process. And he remained expressionless as though he wasn't feeling the slightest bit of pain. After a few seconds had passed, the flesh shirt had completely merged with his body.

Now, it was as though he had his skin stitched with another type of flesh with the stitches running along his arms neck, abdomen and arms. Alvian eyes turned sharp and a feeling of overwhelming strength overtook him.

His muscles contorted and they bulged to the extreme as he flexed them. Softly clenching both his fist and releasing them. At the same time, the muscles around his body began twitching, even the muscles in his back and leg oscillated as he moved them.

He did this for almost a hundred times before he finally stopped.

This was a technique used to quickly get used to one's increase in strength. Normally, it would have taken him at least five to seven tries before finally getting the hang of it but this time, five times was barely enough.

Finally, it was time to check out and upgrade his skills.

Alvian chuckled slightly. "Seems the Void Realm isn't all knowing after all."

There were still about a few skills that he was aware of but wasn't displayed in his skill list. Like his Sonic Finger, the Pause Step, and so on. But they weren't on his skill list which meant that the Void Realm only knows about the skill he uses during the mission or maybe it only started to pay attention to him.

Either way, it was good news for Alvian, knowing the Void Realm isn't omnipotent in the end.

He then fixed his attention towards his Hand-to-hand combat skill. He had been stuck for more than five year and had tried different method to increase his proficiency in the last five years but nothing really worked.

He was well aware that he had reached the pinnacle of the technique and was satisfied with it for a time until he met someone during his mission.

It was the most life threatening and the most thrilling moment of his life.

Minus the fight with the legendary beast in the previous world. Although he had been able to kill his opponent by a small margin, and had been severely injured in the process, It was during that fight he was made aware that there was a higher proficiency to hand to hand combat.
