1 Arrogant Nobles

Recent events caused a massive uproar between the nobles. After the war, life had been the most peaceful its ever been for the new higher nobles. As for the 'commoners' and old nobility, times were dark.

"I want answers now!" a chubby bearded noble exclaimed

News of his daughters being crippled almost sent him into a crazed state. As noble with one of the highest standing after the war, he had his future all planned out.

"W-we don't know what happened" A stuttering voice said.

SLAP!!

A red imprint appeared on the servants face as his body traversed the floor.

The difference between standing was so between nobility and non nobility were so high, that the standard of living for those without status were treated as livestock. People deemed as beautiful in the eyes of the nobles were taken as either servants or slaves; the former or latter didn't matter in reality.

The intelligent nobles devised a system, so the common people wouldn't starve, and would only keep them on the thin line of rebellion. This was their ideal plan in theory. There was only bound to be a few people who showed resistance.

"Felix, their wounds couldn't be caused by anything other than magic" A women's voice said

"H'mm, I don't like where your going with this Agatha" Felix slowly replied

In this world of Norgara, Mana was the driving force and what the nobles were so proud of. They worshipped Mana as energy provided by the gods. The limits of mana were unknown but was almost an impossible force to control. Humans werent born with innate mana, but mana manifested itself inside the human body throughout puberty when the body underwent changes. Those without the proper teachings and knowledge would never be able to wield mana effectively.

"The Tron family have always been hostile towar-"

"STOP" Felix replied, before his wife could say anymore, shaking his plump head. "My daughters got what they deserved, with their sick hobbies" Felix continued with a dissapointed tone.

"So you've known all along what they've been up to in their free time? Agatha said showing a surprised expression but it soon showed relief. Their daughters were defects in society who liked to pray on young women. These perverted act were not uncommon among the bored and twisted nobles. The topic of conversation quickly switched.

"Why else do you think they have yet to be married?" He said calmly looking straight into Agatha's eyes. "We need to keep our Bloodline pure."

"Your more sick than me you damn fool" Agatha broke into a wick smile.

For higher nobility incest was prominent, as mana allowed the probability of a defect from an inbreed to be significantly lowered. Families were closer than ever. The chances of a talanted magician being born was also higher.

"Lets get back on topic; The one who did this must be found and brought to me at all cost, as his death will not satisfy me. Felix said with fury in his eyes. " Now Bring Ira to me."

"Y-Yes Master" The pained servants voice rang out before quickly stepping away, leaving the two in the room.

"What about the Blind girl?" Agatha said with nervous eyes.

"HAHA" Felix chuckled. "Nobody will listen to that cripple, I've already sent her back to that family of heretics" Felix said with ridicule. In the city of Agora, people with defects were looked down upon.

"Whatever. While our daughters are healing i'm heading out to complete the first stage of our plan, as we no longer have the luxury of time." Agatha said swaying her hips, teasing her husband before swiftly exiting by waving the large door open.

"Ugh" Felix mouth open while momentarily forgetting about his daughters.
