1 1. Alive?

David woke up, he felt like a stampede of bulls has ran over him, but this wasn't ant shocking news to him actually he was pretty shocked that he wasn't dead.

After the ringing of his ears passed and his eyes started functioning properly. David realized that his first guess as they might be holding him hostage was wholly wrong. This was no dungeon this was a place with hundreds of dead bodies most of them coming from his own household.

Thinking they must have thought I was dead and throw me in here was his first coherent thought.

still quite shaken up by all that is happening David was still quite dumbfounded and lost wondering what he is supposed to do now. After sitting down for a few minutes and calming down he realized that he had to find his parents and bury them. Just Then the problem of finding his parents bodies began, he searched and searched after an hour or two he was able to find his mothers lifeless body thrown on top of other bodies with no care at all probably with a broken spine and a few more broken bones.

He dragged his mothers body to somewhere outside the dead body zone and started looking or his father but no matter where he looked he was unable to find his father, he looked at every single dead body in order to find his father but his father was not in this group of dead bodies.

All of a sudden he heard a group of people talking between them about how this is the last group of bodies.

In the next second David heard someone shouting "one of them is alive shoot him" and a bowstring being released, with that he slowly fell and passed out, possibly after he passed out he heard

"Again, Child try to live longer than a day I won't save you anymore"

David didn't know how to explain this voice, it was both feminine and masculine, both sharp and smooth, it was the voice of everything basically.

David woke up in a cold sweat he was now determined to actually live after hearing the voice of the unknown being, he felt like he had to live to fulfill his debt to this being.

He still had to bury his parents but he would be more careful, he looked around saw that there was no one around except for the bodies, he looked for his father one last time was unable to find him so he just said fuck it and started making a hole in the dirt for his mother after an hour the hole was big enough so he just put his mothers body in the hole covered it back up.

Still feeling like shit he started to move towards the exact opposite direction of the militia that came before, after walking and running whenever he heard anything behind him, he came across a river, at this moment his previous stupidity due to all the shock was passing and he realized he was lost in the middle of a fucking forest and that he had no idea how to get out of, he didn't even check out his stats or anything but drank mouthfuls of water and started moving along the river in the hopes to find a settlement.

After calming down a bit more he decided to check his character sheet because he felt like he was way worse than he used to be

At this moment David heard a ding sound then he realized that someone has just sent a message to him, which he didn't know was a thing, he wished for the message to be open and in front of david lay all his questions answers.

Universe-chan here, when I saved you the first time it was on accident so I only had to reset your level and delete your skills so my balance wouldn't be broken but as soon as I changed your level to level 1, your future all of a sudden changed and I have to say I didn't want to miss out on such a future powerful ally as yourself, try to get as powerful as possible there isn't really anything big that is about to start but still there are some smaller things happening that might put you in trouble, much love from Universe-chan.

So now I can really become one fo the top people in this world huh Its sad that I won't be getting any help like I used to di and its also sad I probably won't be able to share it with my parents.

After traversing through the terrain for a few more hours he saw a lake apparently this river ended here or at least it seemed that way. When he saw the river he started running towards it in the hopes of finding someone anyone really and lucky for him there was actually a fishermans hut, as he was getting closer and closer to the hut, a man came out of the house with a bucket full of fish insides. The man saw David and said

"Boy are you lost or something"(the unknown man)

"Y-y yes, I am I was looking for anywhere that I can get a good nights sleep and some food"(David)

"Boy you are a bad fucking liar tell me what happened and I might tell you the way to the closest settlement."(the unknown man)

"Alright I'll be off then have a good day old man"(David)

David started walking in a random way into the forest, he didn't know where the nearest settlement was but he walked in a straight line only because if he got lost he wanted to be able to find the old mans place again, after going on for half an hour he realized the next settlement probably wasn't this way and went back he kept going in and out of the forest while the old man watched him slowly give up his will to search for the settlement and after some point david came back to the old man.

"Hey old man is the offer still on, or what"(David)

"No fucking way its more fun to watch you go back and forth and suffer HAHAHAHA"(the old man)

"Really you're gonna do this, come on thats just childish"(David)

After chatting back and forth sometimes shouting sometimes flipping the other side off the ild man finally said

"I needed a good laugh kiddo thanks, the settlement is that way but with the fancy clothes you have on you and in that state people will probably understand that you are the son of the noble family that got destroyed, how the hell did you even live kiddo the godkings personal army is ruthless you know, I'm Benjamin Black by the way, the previous commander of the godkings army"(Benjamin)

Just as he heard the last sentence of the old man, David started running as fast as he can into the forest, the trees started going up and up and then David realized he was falling down hus last thoughts before he was knocked out by Benjamin was I really should stop getting myself in trouble.
