24 Chapter-24 : This... is Awesome
## 4 Days later ##
It had been four days since captain and his commandos had arrived on the base.
We had been pretty busy since then.
Me, Utivich, wicki, and Hugo along with 3 members of his 'roaring commandos' were the ones given the task of collecting intelligence on Hydra bases.
In teams of three, we confirmed presence of two hydra bases, one was a small normal firearms production factory along with mid level hydra members and another was a developing high security hydra base, most probably produced Zola's energy weapons.
Unfortunately, our team was sent to the small normal firearms production factory and I didn't got the chance to get my hands on one of them to study them myself.
We studied their patterns, shift details, number of important personnel and many other things for a couple of days.
It was 03:00 AM right now, everyone was sleeping, except the ones on the guard duty, everyone was in their rooms sleeping.
I was right now sitting on my bed as I copied abilities from Steve.
How was that possible you may ask? Well, I had given him the room next to my room, and had changed the placement of the bed according to my convenience, our beds were seperated by just a wall and he was in the range of my copying.
He slept soundly as I copied his abilities, I copied all the physical ability yellow grade cards he had, well other cards were welcomed too.
I became more and more excited as I saw the description of the abilities while they were being copied.

Type : Ability / Physical
Color : Yellow (low)
Description : Grants user strength beyond normal human standards, can be developed through training
Grade Limit : 10 Tons
Effects : muscles will be strengthened and rearranged, all muscles will turn into pink muscles as the density will increase]

Type : Ability / Physical
Color : Yellow (low)
Description : Grants user endurance, stamina and health beyond normal human limits, better regeneration, immunity and reduced fatigue levels
Effects : organ functions are increased, blood quality increases, muscles produce less fatigue and body doesn't tire out easily]
[Card : Superhuman Agility
Type : Ability / Physical
Color : Yellow (low)
Description : Grants user ability to go beyond human speed limits, increased jumping powers and leg strength, can be developed through training
Effects : Reaction speeds and reflexes are are increased, all the tissues in legs will be rearranged to maximize speed.
Grade Limit : 30 m/s ]
[ Card : Superhuman Defense
Type : Ability / Physical
Color : Yellow (low)
Description : Reduces physical and mental damage received from injuries, increases resistance to physical and mental condition like extreme heat, cold, pain, torture, trauma and shock
Effects : Increases Skin, muscle, bone and tendons' hardness, strengthens internal organs, increases blood quality and tolerance of cells]
[ Card : Superhuman Senses
Type : Ability / Physical
Color : Yellow (low)
Description : Grants user senses beyond possible human limit, increased eyesight, hearing, touch, smell and taste
Effects : Empowers sensory organs, amount of Information received by brain also increases, uses more brain power]
Names alone were self descriptive, but these abilities giving me a chance to enhance them further down the road was much more exciting.
And one thing that happened that was a surprise.
As soon as these abilities were copied, which took about a few hours, they immediately got assimilated.
I could see on the screen, all of my previous physical cards merged with these cards one by one and increased the assimilation percentage till they got fully assimilated.
It was expected, but not so soon, all of these abilities merged with these cards and increased their brightness a bit as they made them fully assimilated.
As soon as they assimilated, a warm, fuzzy and soothing feeling filled my body as changes started to become more and more apparent.
My body sweated profusely as it expelled unessential products out of the body.
I stood up on the ground as I took my shirt off and checked my body.
'Damn....' I thought as I took a look at my body.
My muscles became much more compact and dense, all my extra body fat disappeared as each and every muscle in my body looked more apparent.
I could feel muscles being rebuilt and rearranged into places I never knew.
Much of my bulk became condensed as my muscles became more hard than before, I could even feel that my skin and bones had became much stronger.
Trying to pinch my skin and muscles, I found that superhuman defense really did a great job.
It didn't felt till now, but even in dark of the night, I could easily see very clearly around me, I could hear more better as my brain received even more information from my senses.
I slipped outside towards the pond not so far away to wash my self.
There I tried out my new powers.
I punched a tree as hard as I could as it shook hardly.
*thump!!!*
Leaves fell off of it as birds in the surrounding area flew away quietly, the trunk of the tree had a fist mark on it as some of its roots came above the surface.
Calculating the result in my mind, my raw strength was equal to 1000 Kg now!!
And the best part was that this was just the raw strength, with martial arts and other skills I had, I would be able to exert 2-3 times more strength than this.
This was just amazing, and I didn't even received that much damage, usually if I exert my full force, there would be a broken bone along the way with ripped up skin and bruised up muscles, but now, my hands were just a little red as pain subsided quickly.
This not only allowed me to access to all of my strength, but even use it much more often than I previously used, not to mention that my strength just increased so much now.
I could visibly see the redness on my hands go away as regeneration kicked in and they became normal in a few minutes.
I easily jumped 3 meters up as I cling to another tree, my jumping power had increased much also.
I tried out doing heavy exercises which used to tire me out quickly but even after an hour I didn't feel that tired, now I knew why Captain America was so favourite of people, he could go on and on and on for a very long period of time and exert all of his self even after serious injuries.
My endurance just went through the roof. After some calculations, I figured that I could go full strength for at least a couple of hours before tiring out.
Feeling content with the gains I had, I cleaned myself up properly and washed my body multiple times to get rid of the smell due to sweat and grime that came out of my body.
I left the place after wearing my light armor back and putting some clothes on.
I slipped back into the base as I slep for a few hours to give myself a well deserved sleep.

I wanted to tell that I am super busy for following few months, until June I think, so till then, I think of will only post a couple chapters a month.
