21 Chapter-21 : Early Christmas!!!

Taking these days off was really beneficial for me, not only did it increase number of my abilities, but even the quality of them.

My mind was much more clearer than ever, I hadn't become an extraordinary genius as to say, but I was pretty smart now, I guess.

But one thing that I liked was that all this increase in brain power didn't didn't change my personality at all, sure I was now more open to things and saw them through a different and new perspective, but that didn't make me a whole new person.

I was still the Bobby I knew, just with a major software upgrade.

I was currently in the London, making my way to the university of London in a car that I 'borrowed' without the person knowing about it.

My goal for today was Dr Alexander Fleming, he was currently a professor of bacteriology in the Institute.

The Institute was currently a major hotspot for biologist.

Many there were experts from all fields working here, I doubted I could get anything other than knowledge cards, well, even these knowledge cards would be a bit old compared to the knowledge I gathered before coming here.

The only thing I hoped to gain was something obscure that maybe others didn't posses.

For today, I wasn't going in like how I went in usually, I went in like an assassin, stealth was something else, no one knew what happened, I just trailed a few professors here and there copying a few cards that I though would be useful, luckily, Fleming was present inside and was currently sleeping with his head on his desk.

This made it much easier for me to extract cards.

And as I expected, he didn't have any purple card, but had a shit ton of yellow cards instead, I copied them all, I had lot of them already, but this just pushed them all to the peak of yellow grade.

I paid a visit to the labs to see if there was something good in there, well, nothing out of the ordinary was present except a few 'modern' equipments.

I left the facility in stealth as I made my way to the safe house.

My brain had been overloaded with a lot of information in past days, I needed a good sleep.

I went to my room I the safe house as I slept without any care in the world, well, I didn't have any enemies for now that knew specifically who I was, and no assassins would be able to come here without ringing any bells, and I was feeling lucky, so I slept like a log.

And to my surprise, I slept for while 18 hours, I woke up as felt myself even better than before, the headache had gone away, my brain was working so smooth that even I doubted it.

I checked the screen as I saw that all of my physical brain enhancing cards had combined and made a new card [Super Brain], it was a shining bright yellow card that looked on the verge of evolving.

It boosted all of my brain related powers to a whole new level, much better than working individually.

The car that had restored, now had a new and much more powerful engine.

I smiled as I saw that all the knowledge cards I had were already assimilated, simple reason, because now my brain was equal to the knowledge I was acquiring, it made the assimilation insanely fast.

It was morning, so I made myself a nice breakfast to congratulate myself.

London, for long had been a capital for many historical things, and one thing I knew better, was nice alcohol, so I went on search around the city finding good alcohols as I bought them and stored them carefully, these were the gifts I was taking back for the basterds, nice and quality alcohol, the ones they liked.

I was departing back to Paris, where I would meet the basterds, apparently they didn't like their holidays, so they went back to work just after a week.

They had contacted me today, saying they will be waiting for me somewhere 20 miles west to Paris.

I got on the plane as I took a trunk with me, it had all my supplies and the gifts I bought back.

Jumping off the plane a few hours later, I opened my parachute and the parachute on the trunk as I slowly descent

Landing in the woods was much harder, but I managed without any hiccups, I moved towards the Rendezvous point as I spotted the basterds waiting.

"Bobby my man!!!" Donny came as he gave me a 'bro-bump' on my back.

"Well, you don't look changed..." Omar said as he smiled a bit.

"Neither do you guys..." I said as I was interrupted in between

"You bought what I told you??" Utivich said as he looked seriously into my eyes.

"Yeah Yeah, it's all in the trunk, here.. " I said as I tossed him the keys of the trunk.

He with the others surrounded the trunk as they all took out their gifts.

I looked at Aldo standing beside everyone else as I said "You look happy Aldo, what happened??"

"Well, it's a matter to be happy, you finally came back, and the good news is that we just got more clearance, we can move much more deep into enemy lines now, and we will now be receiving heavy artilleries and much more support. It's gonna be a heck of a fireworks display this year!!" He said as he took a sip from his pewter.

"Well, that's definitely good news, more scalps for us now, hahaha!!" I said as I turned back towards the basterds who were opening their own packs.

Each package had their names on it, and contained 2 bottles of their preferred alcohol, some nice new watches they wanted, and a good set of clothes.

After an hour of chatting around, it was time for departure. I stopped everyone as I said "Well, wait a minute folks, I have some new things for you all, and that includes you too Aldo, My father contacted me a few days back, he said that he bought me my old stash, the things I made when I was home, and you won't believe what they can do..." I said while smiling as everyone had a curious face.

"Follow me, I'll lead you, it's gonna be early Christmas for us..."

## two hours later ##

"How much more Bobby?? I think you lost..." Donny complained as he was the one carrying most of the stuff.

"Well, only a few minutes now, we almost there..." I said as I looked around for the marked tree.

My memory was so better now that I could exactly pinpoint the location where I hid the material I made before going off to US.

"Here we are..." I said as I took the shovel hanging on Donny's bag and shoved it into the ground.

"Hey Donney, give me a hand here..." I was saying as he interrupted "No Fuucking Way!!! I ain't doing this shit now, it's better to fight Nazi's than doing this... "

Well, he got one point right, so I just used my strength and a few more teammates to dig out the box.

"Hehehe..." I smirked as I opened the box.

"Happy early Christmas boys, take these." I said as I tossed each of them a bag of clothes, well, the new armor I made.

"These are bulletproof, shockproof, heat resistant lightweight inner vests, I designed them when I was 16, quite useful I say" I said as they all had question marks on their faces, well, bulletproof was not a thing in these times.

"Well, these are like this.." I said as I showed them my armor under my collar.

I took my gun, cocked it and shot myself thrice above my heart.

All of them had a pained and a shocked expression on them as I said "Well, now you see, they'll save your ass in times you can't yourself, now wear these now, you don't know when you will face a nazi when you are a Basterd."

"Whoooaaa, that's some next level shit you got here..." Utivich said as he room out his pistol and shot me three more times.

"What the heck was that for?" I asked him as he kept his pistol back in his holster.

"Well, I couldn't believe it... But now I do" He said as he proceeded to wear his armor.

After 10 minutes after everyone was in had their armours beneath their clothes, I took out other gifts as well, ang by gifts I mean guns.

"These are new and enhanced version of the guns you were using previously, Almost no sound, almost no recoil, pin point accuracy, and more deadlier"

I handed out two pistols to each one of them along with one AR or machine gun of their style.

"And this is specially for you Utivich.." I said as I took out the Sniper rifle out of the box.

It looked like an Arctic Warfare Magnum, from the appearance, but was dozens of times more deadly.

"He looked at the Rifle with wide eyes as he snatched it away and started 'checking' the rifle, more like molesting it.

"That's unfair, you didn't got anything special for us??" Donny said as he was still 'playing' with his new AR.

"Well, I got something special for you too..." I said while taking out a bat from the box, it had circles around it at the end of the bat.

Donny snatched the bat as he tried some swings with it

"I am already liking this one..." he muttered as he smiled wickedly

"Twist the handle halfway... " I said as he did exactly that.

As he twisted the handle, the metal of the circle pattern slided in as spikes came out of it.

*whewww* Whole squad whistled at the same time seeing the sharp spikes that came out.

"Yeahh baby!!! This is like a dream come true, wooo hoooooo!!!!!" Donny yelled as picked up a piece of wood off the ground smashed it far.

Everyone laughed seeing Donny act like a child that got everything he wanted in Christmas and early at that.

"And yes, for the desert...."
