48 The Amazing Message!

Nodding silently, Jewel took a deep breath than exhaled calming herself before uttering, "Play message."

Immediately the frozen image with a beep sprung to life as it began to play its secret message causing Jewels father to begin to talk. "My darling Jewel, I've set this message to activate only in your presence after a certain period of time has passed once you've reached a certain distance away from Planet Vegeta."

"Both I "THE GREAT" Rubi and your mother "THE SUPERB" Safire now suspect that King Vegeta wants us dead. If you're seeing this message then both I and your mother have fallen to his scheme's and are dead and you've somehow managed to escape Planet Vegeta safely. This means you should now be fully aware of King Vegeta's treacherous nature."

"Several years ago before you were born I made the immature mistake of telling him about a few of our ideas for brilliant inventions but afterwards when I later realized he wanted them for himself exclusively I vehemently refused to give them to him, lying blatantly to his face by claiming we had ultimately been unable to create them for they were merely the dreams of two idealistic Saiyan engineers and not at all feasible to create in truth."

"Although he said he understood, we could both see the madness and insatiable greed for more power within his eyes and knew he would never stop trying to find were we had hidden the inventions plans for he did not truly believe we had been unable to build the brilliant inventions I had talked about with such intricate detail and passion to him." he said clenching his fist in anger.

"Our inventions were designed to help all Saiyans grow stronger, not Just King Vegeta and those he chooses. This pendant will lead you to our sanctuary, a special place I and your mother built for you while you slept safely within your incubator and is where we housed are collective life's work. In that safe place you will see all are dreams and creations we made to help are people break free from Frieza and become a new galactic empire."

"We hope you can follow in our footsteps as a GREAT and SUPERB SUPER engineer Jewel, but never forget that just like us you are also a proud Saiyan who are a superior battle-born warrior race. Always remember that we your parents were not just SUPER engineers, but SUPER combat engineers who had shed our blood supporting and even fighting alongside our fellow Saiyan brothers and sister combatants on the battlefield while building, repairing and hacking to advance are planetary conquests."

"As a proud Saiyan and our child you are no mere Low-Class Saiyan for the blood of one of our ancestors, one of the greatest of ancient Saiyan warrior champions from Sadala also flows in your veins and you bear all the distinctive marks of her chosen descendant. In time we know you will eventually awaken your unique bloodline but to keep you safe we suppressed your potential and hid your mark as one of the bearers of the [Legendary Supreme Seven Thunderbolts of Power], from the forgotten legends of are people concerning the [Legendary Super Saiyan and Super Saiyan God] so that you could grow up in peace despite looking different from everyone else even if something was to happen to us." he finished solemnly as he let go of his wife's hand and placed it around her waist, the shadow of unshed tears of love and pride for his beloved daughter near the edge of his eyes.

Then the beautiful woman who looked similar to Jewel on his left began to speak with crystal-like tears in her eyes, her voice sounding melodious like the tinkling of bells. "Jewel, we both know you may be angry with us for leaving you behind and not telling you any of this in person but we have always intended to share everything with you when you were older. Alas the future is uncertain which is why we have prepared this pendant just in case something unforeseen should happen to us. Hopefully this message will never see the light of day and we will always be together but your father and I have always believed in having a backup plan just in case. Finally Jewel, your father and I want you to know that we love you with all are heart, for despite everything we have created, despite all of our wondrous, miraculous, inventions which we hope you will soon see, you truly are and will always be, our greatest creation."

As the message came to an end only silence was left in its wake as both Broly and Jewel silently processed what they had heard. The hologram frozen in the last frame of the message blinked out of existence as a series of numbers and letters appeared in its wake. These were the coordinates of the "Sanctuary" Jewels parents had built for her that supposedly housed their life's work.

Jewel however still seemed to be frozen in place as she was overwhelmed by a myriad of emotions hearing the last words of her parents. Feeling somewhat lost she turned and buried herself in Brolys fit yet child sized chest as she found her center. Wrapping his arms around her Broly remained silent as he tenderly stroked Jewels head with his right hand instilling both comfort and security in the somewhat shaken young Saiyan girl.

After half an hour Jewel finally recovered herself to her normal state and smiled at Broly as she slowly removed herself from his warm embrace.

"Thank You Broly, for always being there for me." she thanked contentedly.

"Always my precious Jewel. I will always be there for you no matter what Jewel for we are family and the oath of our Saiyan family is and shall eternally be "Always and Forevermore"." Broly earnestly swore.

"Always and Forevermore..." mused Jewel aloud beneath her breath, fully enchanted by the profound depth of such a oath.

"Now Jewel, it seems due to this unexpected message there is a need to change are destination. " said Broly with a roguish smile as he hopped into the Captains chair.

With a casual wave of his hand Broly conjured a luminescent green Ki Barrier around the plug and flung into away into space opening the passage out from the asteroid then began to issue orders.

"SUPER flight engineer Jewel, activate all drives, the scouter shield and the stealth module. Set coordinates for the sanctuary. Also don't forget to activate the spy cameras self-destruct." On his order Jewel returned his smile as she fired off a smart salute then hopped into her pilots seat and began to flip a bunch of switches and press dozens of buttons. Soon the familiar hum of the drives sprung to life as the ship awoke from its slumber while out in space a few marble sized cameras suddenly burst into flames and shrapnel leaving behind only specks of worthless metal scrap.

Then as Jewel activated the stealth module she had built according to Broly's specifications the exterior of the ship underwent a drastic transformation turning the sleek hi-tech ship into a flawless duplicate of a average sized grey asteroid. Gripping the ships helm Jewel skillfully guided the stealthy "asteroid" out of its larger relative and into space as she quickly plotted a course for the coordinates her parents pendant had projected.

"Let's see what surprise your parents have prepared for us. BLAST OFF!" commanded Broly excitedly suddenly feeling the air around them become charged with the phenomenal energy felt at the start of a grand adventure filled with finding a great fortune as they bravely headed off into the unknown depths of space...
