47 Mysterious Keepsake! The Secret is Revealed!

The day after Planet Vegeta was destroyed Broly awoke from his peaceful slumber to the sound of his stomach growling for food. After almost three years this was the first time he had been outside his nurturing incubator which provided him with endless nutrients thru its nutrient solution.

Glancing over to the pilots seat, he carefully checked Jewel who was sleeping peacefully then hopped off the captains command chair he was sitting on and silently walked to the rear of the ship, passed thru the cargo hold/engine rooms access hatch a dozen feet from the captains seat.

Opening with a hiss as he pressed the control pad next to it on the wall the hatch smoothly slid to the side into the wall and he inquisitively entered the small cargo hold/engine room filled with the low soothing hum of the stealth drive and engines where he found several gray crates neatly stacked and secured against the wall.

Walking up to one that looked promising labeled "High-Energy Rations" he opened it and discovered various silver and brown colored foil rectangles of sealed provisions.

Grabbing a full armful of bars, he left the small cargo hold and plopped himself down on the comfortable curved plush seat along the wall next to the cargo access hatch and tore open a bar revealing a tan colored rectangle of something.

Bravely biting into the tan bar his tongue was overwhelmed by a slightly peppery flavored meat that tasted similar to braised pork but without the proper spices. Swallowing faster than he could chew he quickly worked his way thru the rest of the bars yet as he finished off the last one still felt he was only half full, so made his way back into the cargo hold to get some more.

As he entered the cargo hold/engine room unbeknownst to him the pendant on the necklace around Jewels neck began to act strange. First it began to float, lifting up into the air until it was stopped by the necklace it was attached to at a height slightly higher than the top of Jewels head and the chair.

Pausing for a few moments the red ruby eyes of the Great Ape emblazoned on pendant blinked several times then suddenly emitted two vertical rays of reddish energy that began to scan the interior of the ship.

After a few seconds the pendant emitted a soft beep as the scan completed and the red rays completely disappeared before the pendants Great Ape's ruby eyes suddenly lit up again as a thin beam of white light shot directly towards Jewels sleeping face and moved back and forth rapidly over her lovely features several times before suddenly turning green followed by the beam disappeared and the pendant growing dark.

Several moments later the ruby red eyes of the pendant lit up brightly once more and projected a 2ft tall hologram above the pendant just as Broly happily emerged from the cargo hold/engine room humming to himself as he carried another armful of filling sealed rations.

Seeing the floating pendant, the projected hologram above it and the SUPER adorable Jewel still sleeping in the pilots chair with a long dribble of saliva dangling from her open mouth blissful unaware of her surrounds Broly gasped in shock, dropping the ration bars along with his jaw in disbelief.

Rushing over to Jewels side he quickly shook her awake as he called her name.

"Jewel! Jewel! Wake up Jewel!" exclaimed Broly as he shook his slumbering Saiyan ace pilot/SUPER engineer.

Grumbling to herself, Jewel groggily woke up, tentatively opening her eyes as she was not used to being woken up by another.

"Wha...Broly. Five more minutes, gimme just five more minutes than I'll get up o.."Yawn"..kay." replied Jewel sleepily before closing her eyes once again.

Of course Broly ignored her request and grabbed the skin of her waist and pinched her really hard as he said commandingly, "GET UP RIGHT NOW JEWEL!"

"OUCCHHHH!!" Squealed Jewel painfully as she fully opened her eyes quickly saying, "I'M UP OKAY, I'M UP! STOP PINCHING ME BROLY!"

Letting go of her skin, without wasting time on explaining why he had woke her up he reached up and grabbed her head and turned it towards the floating pendant and the bright 2ft tall hologram projected above it and said, "Look."

Suddenly discovering her keepsake pendant floating in the air in front of her projecting a 2ft hologram caused her to gasped aloud as she turned back towards him and exclaimed in disbelief, "HOW, WHY,WHEN! What's going on Broly?"

"Beats me Jewel. I went into the cargo hold for some more rations and when I came back a few minutes later your pendant was floating in the air and projecting this mysterious hologram." Broly replied with a shrug as he gestured towards the hologram with his right hand.

Both of them then focused on the hologram and examined it closely and discovered it was showing a handsome Saiyan man holding hands with a beautiful Saiyan woman who were both wearing traditional Saiyan blue full body skintight jumpsuits and a pair of silver combat boots with basic sleeveless silver torso armors and white open scientist coats on top. On both their left arms were sleek silver gauntlets which looked like a combined arm cannon/arm computer and on their faces were matching sleek silver scouters.

"OH MY GOODNESS, THATS MY MOM AND DAD!" exclaimed Jewel in shock, covering her mouth with both her hands.

"You mom and dad?" echoed Broly. "HAH! I knew it! I knew that pendant was really special. This hologram looks like a message Jewel. Why don't you play it. Something tells me your parents designed it to only respond to you." analyzed Broly knowingly.
