40 [40] Scamming a Chicken

A/N: Yo today's my birthday!, because of that I won't be making chapters on the weekend as I'm going somewhere with the fam.

"...Are you sure this is the place?" I couldn't help but ask Asia. The church which we had arrived in was literally on the brink of collapse.

"Of course it is, look" she said as she handed me the address. I looked at it and yep, were in the right place.

Does this girl have any survival instincts?. Like I'm sure any reasonable person would have questioned the place one they arrived here. Perhaps her naive personality plays a part in this.

Oh well it works either way, I'm planning on playing the 'hero' role once we go in there after all. Asia might not be a fighter but her [Twilight Healing] is extremely valuable as it can heal anything and anyone. I'll save her, bring her into my group, and bam a healer besides Valeria will come into Schicksal.

Of course she's cute and all but I don't plan on romancing her as I already have my hands full. At most I'll treat her like a little sister. Well she is a nun so I could basically start calling her sister at this moment.

"Well let's go in" I told her as I opened the door.

As we walked in we both began to stride through the middle hall of the church which lead to a big room. Probably were all those religious people had their Monday church.

"It's seems you have arrived human. Hm? Is that another person. sigh~ that's just great, now I'll have to get my new shoes dirty" from one of the seats on the front of the church stood up a man with wings, obviously a fallen angel

"Kill me?, that's cute~" I couldn't help but laugh.

That's seemed to rile the fallen angel "filthy human!" He raised his hand as a spear of light condensed in his hand.

I looked at Asia to see how she would react and just how I predicted she was shivering in fear.

The girl must have been really shelteredif she trembles at the sight of such a weak attack. I bet the only proper interaction she had with the supernatural was when she got tricked by Diadora into healing him and getting herself kicked out of the church.

The fallen angel flicked it's hands as the spear of light whistled through the air as it moved towards me at high speed.

"Otto No!" Yelled Asia right next to me

What the fuck do you mean by 'no!' gurl?!, Your literally right next to me. Push me aside or something instead of just standing there with your hands covering your mouth!.

As the spear finally reached me it striked me on the chest. But far from their expectations the thing shattered like glass the moment it hit Otto.

"The fuck?!"

Hahaha the face on him is hilarious!, it's quite funny to see an enemy be so pride of their power only for them to see it be ineffective.

"My turn~" I raised my hand as 10 iron swords were created, seemingly floating around me.

"D-Damn Human, you dare!" It screamed as it created more spears of light that hovered above him.

It's as if he was trying to enter a dick measuring contest against me to see who can make the most weapons.

Hehehe fine, I'll play~

Under the church-

*Boom*

"Shit what was that?!" Said Raynare as the Church violently shook.

"Tch, you fallen angles can't even pick up a girl without problems" snickered a rogue exorcist as he picked up his weapons to see what was going up there.

"Let's go and see what happening, at least make yourselves useful"

"We don't take orders from you, we only listen to Lord Kokkabiel!" Said one of the fallen angels.

"Fine you fucking birds, but if the mission fails it's your fault" without looking back Freed began escending the staircase.

The Fallen angles looked at his back with disdain but sighed as they followed. They didn't like him at all, in fact they would rather kill the guy now but they knew that Kokkabiel would be mad at them if they did. They also couldn't ignore the loud fighting noises on the churches first floor.

As the group made their way up they were shocked to see the scene infront of them.

The entire room was filled with swords stabbing it's walls and floors. But that alone wasn't enough to shake them to their core, but the scene of one of their own being crucified on the giant cross of the church wall with swords.

His legs, stomach, hands, legs, everything was being impaled by swords as his wounds drioed blood.

"So you've come?, it took you people long enough" said a voice with a sigh.

Their head trailed across the room until their eyes landed on Otto who was holding Freed up into the air by the neck with one hand, and at the same time covering Asias eyes with his free hand.

Freed Choked, moved, and struggled as he tried to get Ottos hands off his neck but it was as if a wall and been wrapped around his pipe.

"Who are you!" Said one of the fallen angels as he created a spear of light.

"Please just attack me. First your going to ask me who I am then your going to insult me and thereafter you will all attack, I'm just doing us both a favor budy" Otto already knew how shot was going to go down so why waist time.

"Don't mock us you lowly human!" It yelled as he threw it light spear.

"See?, you just insulted me after asking how I was. I was right" Otto casually said as he canceled out the fallen angels attack completely with an energy slash of his own without even moving an inch.

The other seeing their fellow fallen angel attack they began creating light weapons of their own and sending them flying towards him.

But Otto just shook his head in disappointedment as multiple glowing ripples to appear midair, golden chains began to sprout out and wrapped around each of the fallen angels, rendering them completely unable to move.

Originally he was going to kill them all but after some though, Otto decided to hold them ransom so Azazel would have to pay being money to him just so that they could get their rogue angels back.

Otto could already see Azazel's empty eyes in his mind as he saw millions of dollars falling out of his pockets and Into Otto's own pocket.

"U-Um are you finished?" Asked Asia as she was still having her vision covered by Otto.

"Oh, my bad" Otto removed his hands of her eyes as Asia saw that Otto restrained them instead of killing them brutally just how he did with the first fallen angel.

"Thank god!" She said as she was happy that they were still alive. Otto had already informed her that she was tricked and that they wanted to steal her scared gear while killing her in the process, but due to Asia's kind nature she was glad that they were alive. Infact she hoped that they could repent and become angels one again.

Otto shook his head as she looked at the praying Asia, probably saying something along the lines of 'Thank God's. Otto felt that he should tell her that god is dead already but he would let Kokabiel tell her that when he comes and tries to nuke the school with the 4 Excalibur fragments.

Afterall he needed them for something

Otto has been doing this mission for a few years now. Otto obtained Excalibur Ruler through Arthur since he already had it with him when he joined Schicksal. Otto also obtained Excalibur Rapidly and Excalibur although stealing it from the church, back then he wasn't as powerful as he was now so he almost got cought and died. He could have taken the other sword earlier after he became more powerful but why go for them if they can come to you?. He already knew that Kokabiel was going to bring them to one place, allowing Otto to swoop in and steal them. The only part he didn't forsee before was becoming a student in Kuoh though that part did prove to be convenient.

Otto also gave the swords to Arthur as he was the best possible person to use the swords' besides Otto himself.

Hmm~ I should call Azazel already.

I let go of freed as he gasped for breath on the floor.

I reached into my pocket and took out my phone. I could use my bracelet to buy there's to many eyes watching to use that

The phone rings a bit until the old man picked up.

{Hey kid need something?}

"What?, I can't call my favorite flying chicken in the whole world just to catch up?"

{Do you really believe your own words kid?}

...well no but he could have at least been a bit nicer.

"Yeah yeah anyways, I got some of your 'Rogue' fallen angels here alive and captured. It looks like they invaded devil territory to catch and kill sacred gear users for Kokabiel" I informed them.

Azazel went quiet for a while on the other side of the phone until a big tired sigh came from across the line.

{Tell me your price}

"Hmm now what would you be talking about dear uncle Azazel. I wouldn't dare make you pay for your own subordinat- 500,000 each"

{500,000 each!, you damn brat!. You might as well come to Grigori and clean out our treasury!}

Well Grigori isn't short on money as they've been running for a Loooooong time but it's never good to lose much money.

"Are you perhaps saying that you're people's life's aren't worth that much? Oh how the mighty Azazel has fallen. To think he would rather watch his own fallen be handed to the devil's over paying some paper~"

{... Fine!, but I'll get a 25% discount on your next analysation technology}

"You got yourself a deal old man, see you at my place" with that I hanged up.

Kekeke the next tech I will sell him will just have a small update compared to what we really have hahahahah!.
