44 Chapter 43: The Dragon Vs The Devil Part 3

Ulquiorra calmly observed the two new arrivals. He sensed that their strength was the greatest he had seen from a live cultivator since his rebirth. If he were to make a comparison, then these people would probably compare to one of the Fraccion or even a Privaron Espada in their released forms.

As for the Grand Elder and Grand Patriarch, they were also observing Ulquiorra. Their eyebrows furrowed as they assessed Ulquiorra. From the surface, they saw that he only had the cultivation equal to that of a Foundation Establishment stage, but they seemed to feel a weird pressure if they were to try and pry more into him. It was surreal feeling to say the least.

"Who are you?" The Grand Elder spoke out.

Ulquiorra looked towards the Grand Elder, and stayed silent.

Seeing Ulquiorra just stare at him without answering caused the Grand Elder to feel irritated. He was the Grand Elder! A high existence that was at the Peak of the Sea Refinement realm! He was one step away from the legendary Nascent Soul realm, and yet a brat like this was treating him like air. The Grand Elder frowned.

"I see that you lack the manners. Of course, what would I expect from an intruder." The Grand Elder said as he let out his qi to pressure Ulquiorra.

Ironically, the qi didn't do much to pressure Ulquiorra. The Grand Patriarch saw this also started to let out his qi also. Now, two peak Sea Refinement realm were pressuring Ulquiorra. Ulquiorra didn't flinch, but instead countered by releasing a good chunk of his base spirit pressure upon them. The two cultivators immediately felt it, and they glanced at each other before nodding. They both had one thought in their heads.

'This kid is dangerous!'

The Grand Elder mmediately pounced towards Ulquiorra. His qi sea was surging within him. His whole body started to be covered by a resplendent and majestic qi. He clenched his fist before punching out a projection of a twenty meter long dragon made out of qi.

"DRAGON'S FURIOUS DESCENT!" The Grand Elder shouted out. He wasn't planning on holding back. Right now, he had a mission.

Ulquiorra saw the incoming dragon. This move was strong enough that it could endanger regular adjuchas that didn't become arrancars. Ulquiorra wanted to test something out. This was the single and sole move that he learned during his time training that he could consider worthy of development.

Immediately, a dark green intent aura gushed out like raging wave from Ulquiorra's arm, and then it covered his body before calming down. Right now, Ulquiorra made spectators feel as if they were gazing at an endless darkness. The eyes of the Grand Elder bulged seeing this. He wasn't unfamiliar with the previous moved thay Ulquiorra did against Xin Zhao, but this one bore the characteristics of a concept that he had only read about!

'Intent aura! A high level one at that!'

Ulquiorra raise his hand up pointing towards the moonlit night sky. As the dragon came closer, he slashed down. All the Grand Elder could sense was that it was as if his surroundings all turned quiet for a split second before a dark green wave bursted out from Ulquiorra's arm. He heard Ulquiorra lowly speak out the name of such a technique.

"Luna Menguante"

(AN: Waning Moon)

The dark green wave clashed with the majestic dragon. The two struggled to compete with each other. Ulquiorra's technique was fearsome. It was a combination of qi, intent, and his spirit energy. The original combination allowed Ulquiorra to jump two major realms to battle, and the move alone would content with an early Sea Transformation stage cultivator.

Still, Ulquiorra modified this technique a bit for this particular battle as he added more of his spirit energy. This could've caused the balance to be broken, but fortunately it didn't happen. The amount of spirit energy he put in was about as much as a regular bala, but the effects it brought within the synergy was more than enough.

The two techniques continued to push against each other before causing an implosion. The Grand Elder stepped back once while Ulquiorra remained in place. The Grand Elder frowned. He looked back at the Grand Patriarch.

"Grand Patriarch!" He shouted.

Ulquiorra looked towards the Grand Patriarch to see him doing hand signs. It seemed that the qi around him was resonating with him

The Grand Elder clicked his tongue before pulling out a grand sword that had a bluish blade.

"I guess I have no choice. One more round!" The Grand Elder shouted before swiftly moving towards Ulquiorra. He utilized a movement technique that allowed him to move so fast that it blurred. Unfortunately, it wasn't as fast as the sonido.

Ulquiorra and The Grand Elder clashed. Ulquiorra used his bare knife hand to collide with the bluish sword. Despite the disadvantage in speed, it seemed as if the Grand Elder was able to keep up with Ulquiorra. Of course, this was mostly due to Ulquiorra not going all out. He wished to push these people to their absolute limits. He wanted to see what else they had in store so that he could tear it down effortlessly.

(AN: In short, I'm dragging shite out.)

(AN: In any case, I've been gone for awhile. I've been debating on the current plot and pace of the story, and was wondering how fast you guys wanted it to be. In fact, this whole battle would've ended even before it began if Ulquiorra just used a cero at full power or by wiping out the city with a gran rey, but where's the fun in that? Still, I want your opinion. Originally, the fight was supposed to end this chapter, but decided to end it in the next after the final resort. There's another fight incoming after this one, but this next one should be better in terms of depth, and you guys would probably like it since you'll see something nice. In any case, comment your opinion. Thank you!)
