Chapter 25: The Strength Of Each Realm

Ulquiorra was teleported once more, but this time it wasn't to a room that was empty. Instead, he was teleported to an extremely large room filled with tomes, scrolls, and various large stones. The size was akin to warehouse as opposed to a mere room.

"This place is?" Ulquiorra questioned.

"This is the Heavely Dragon Sect's Library or at least what's left of it. It was preserved using a myriad of different formations. It's also the only library that remained hidden throughout the sect's lifespan." Tian Cai explained as he beckoned Ulquiorra to move.

As they were walking, Tian Cai explained the importance of this library. This library contained all the most secretive and valuable techniques and arts that their sect had. It had accounted for every realm starting for a normal person to even a Void Crossing cultivator. Tian Cai mentioned that the founder reached a realm surpassing that of a Void Crossing cultivator, but there weren't any records of the techniques used in that realm.

"The founder reached that unknown realm, and then started to isolate himself. The one time he went out of isolation was the time he had ascended after he had left for us instructions." Tian Cai said.

"Ascended?" Ulquiorra said.

"According to the ancient records found in both hidden realms and historical sects, the plane we are in now is considered as the mortal realm. There exists the immortal realm. There the cultivators could be considered as gods in our realm." Tian Cai said.

"gods? How powerful are these so-called gods? Ulquiorra asked.

Tian Cai rubbed his phantasmal chin.

"Are you really not aware?" Tian Cai asked as he looked back at Ulquiorra.

"I am not. As strong as I may be, my journey in cultivation has not even reached two weeks." Ulquiorra said.

"Hmmmm, so it seems that your kind is not from the immortal realm then. I had assumed you were from that place considering your power and supposed origins." Tian Cai said.

"My birthplace was a barren land that spanned endlessly. I do not see the point of ascending to such a place if it was indeed what one considered as the immortal realm." Ulquiorra said.

"I see. Well, to give you an answer to your question, we must first know the estimated or average strength of each realm." Tian Cai said as he waved his hand in the air.

As he did so, formations lit up within the area. The formations let out rays of light, and formed a projection of a person in mid-air. Tian Cai waved his hands once more, and a boulder projection appeared.

"A Qi Condensation can leave cracks on a boulder this big while a Foundation Realm can destroy it with the difficulty depending on their stage." Tian Cai said as he made some hand symbols which caused the projections to be like what he portrayed.

"Once a person reaches the Golden Core stage, then one can obtain the power to destroy small buildings in one strike." Tian Cai continued.

The projection of the boulder changed to a house, and the human projection striked it causing it crumble. The next moment, a large building appeared as a projection. The human projection striked it again.

"A Sea Refinement realm can destroy large or tall buildings or structures. The major change happens when one reaches the nascent soul realm." Tian Cai continued.

The projection changed. There is now a floating person, and a city even bigger as Rising Dawn city. The projection of the human striked at city destroying about a quarter of it.

"A Nascent soul stage cultivator can fly, and an early stage one can destroy a quarter of a capital city like this. A middle stage can destroy half the city while a late to peak stage can destroy a the whole city." Tian Continued before making the projections disappear.

"As for Void Crossing realm cultivators like what I was before, then we would have the power to wipe out multiple capital cities at once if they were placed near each other." Tian Cai said.

"As for the cultivators above those realms, then it is obvious that they would have powers far beyond us." Tian Cai explained.

'I see. It seems that now I have a rough grasp of my limits at least in my base form.' Ulquiorra thought.

"Enough of that then, we came to test your comprehension." Tian Cai said.

Tian Cai led Ulquiorra to a giant stone with carvings on it. Ulquiorra could feel his instincts telling him that this stone seemed to pose danger to him. It felt as if he was being threatened by numerous weapons.

"This is the Intent Stone of our sect. Cultivators aren't limited to cultivation techniques. One can grasp a type of intent that will enhance their power or strength above what an ordinary cultivator can put out. One made meditate in front of this stone in order to feel out the intents within it. What one grasps is entirely up to them." Tian Cai said.

He then waved his hands, and multiple formations appeared while rotating. Ulquiorra could feel a bit different. He then looked at Tian Cai seeking for an explanation.

"What I did just know was to use the formations to adjust the time flow in the library. Right now, one month here is one day outside. You have a year in this library. I'll tell you if you passed once the time is done." Tian Cai said before disappearing the next moment.

Ulquiorra could sense the Tian Cai was still nearby, but didn't bother to confront him again. He put his attention on the Intent stone. It seems that this would be a test unfamiliar to him.

"In this case, let's see what this stone holds for me."
