10 Dying of Embarrassment

Dong Hai looked around the lobby. The humilition.

"Open up." Fu Hua said sweetly.

He forced his mouth to open. Disgust was written all over his face. This only made Fu Hua the more satisfied. He could only helplessly watch as the spoon of ice cream headed his way. He was actually going to let this woman spoon feed him ice cream. "Dong Hai ah~" Fu Hua opened her mouth wide to demonstrate.

His mouth widened and the ice cream went into his mouth.

*Hehehe* Fu Hua laughed happily. It sounded more like short snorts than a laugh. Not to mention, she was clapping like a seal. "You don't know how long I've waited to feed you." Unlike normal people, Fu Hua was being quite loud. They would get stares once in a while.

This was probably the most embarrassing moment of his life. He could only pray no one he knew saw.

His prayers were not answered.

Dong Hai happened to look away the moment a familiar face walked in. His eyes met with his ex-girlfriend's. She didn't look too happy to see him. After all, he had broken up with her over a text. She would have ignored him if it wasn't for that person sitting next to him. She had to find out who this unfashionable woman was.

She hooked arms with the girl who accompanied her as they made their way towards Dong Hai's table.

"Aish! Damn it." Dong Hai whispered, placing a hand to cover his face.

"Dong Hai, what's wrong?" Fu Hua asked as if she didn't know what he was thinking. She had already caught onto the situation.

"Nothing. Let's leave." He put his hand on hers, ready to dash but Fu Hua would not let him leave that easily. She sat firmly like a rock. "But I'm not done eating ice cream yet." With her free hand, she pointed to the half eaten ice cream.

"I'll buy you some later." He tried to compromise. But she would not give in. After all, who was she? She wouldn't let him avoid this no matter what.

"Dong Hai!" Too late. His ex-girlfriend had arrived. He looked up and smiled at her. The model looking woman crossed her arms arrogantly. "Ying Ying! What a surprise." He pretended to be happy.

Ying Ying looked over at Fu Hua. Fu Hua was not paying them any attention as she continued to stuff her face with ice cream. The way she ate disgusted Ying Ying. Fu Huo was eating in big bites, making sure to have some stained on the side of her lips.

Ying Ying couldn't help but roll her eyes. "Who is that? Your new girlfriend?"

"No, she is…"

Fu Hua quickly shot up to standing position. "I'm not his girlfriend. I'm his future fiancé." Fu Hua wiped her hands on her skirt before extending her arm to greet Ying Ying. "Nice to meet you. I'm Yi Fu Hua. And you are?"

"Tch~" Ying Ying looked at Dong Hai. The ridicule on her face. Dong Hai wanted to die. The embarrassment! "Is this your type now?"

Dong Hai wanted to say it wasn't true but when he looked at Fu Hua, he remembered. If he did anything to dissatisfy her and she tattled to his father, his money supply would be cut off. Life without money, he could not live without it. He could only swallow the humiliation. "She is indeed my future fiancé."

An arrogant yet proud smile appeared on Fu Hua's face.

*Huff* Ying Ying grabbed onto her friend and left without another word. What kind of joke was this? She was a hundred times more beautiful than his fiancé yet he broke up with her for that? Ying Ying was offended even as she left. Who knew his standards were so low.

He regretted.

Maybe he could live as a bum. This was not worth it at all. There has got to be some way to get out of this.

He turned his head to look at Fu Hua. She was staring at him like a love-struck fool. All he could see was her thick glasses that covered a third of her face. "Dong Hai! So you agree with being my fiancé in the future?" She curiously asked. His sole focus was now on the chocolate stain on the side of her face. How did it even get over there? He couldn't do this.

Dong Hai stayed silent. There was no way he could marry her. His life would be over. But money, he kept thinking about money. He nodded.

Fu Hua raised one hand to adjust her glasses. "But we shouldn't move too fast. Let's date for six months and I'll decide if I want to become your fiancé or not." She suggested.

He almost coughed up blood. She would decide if they should get married? Wasn't she thinking too highly of herself? Does she not look in the mirror? Shouldn't he be the one to say that? All these thoughts and more were floating in his head.

"Fu Hua, you are right. We shouldn't rush to get engaged. Dating is the best way to get to know each other. No need to rush. And if you decide you don't like me, we can always talk to our parents." He quickly agreed with her.

If he knew what she was thinking, he would die from embarrassment. She was the one who truly did not want to marry or even be close to him. It was just that the thought of her being able to boss him around was too good to pass up. Not to mention, she would find ways to embarrass him in front of his friends. His single life would be over. From now on she would be the one to make his life a living hell.
