After showing Kurama his zanpakto sprit it didn't take long to convince him. So, he will be supervising Naruto as he tries to use the Nine tails chakra.

Ryu's zanpakto sprit could be said to be the same as a tailed beast because in theory it is also made purely of chakra instead of soul energy.

Ryu has been practicing to achieve bankai but it is proving harder than he thought. It seems he is not as talented as Ichigo that can do it in two days.

Ryu's strength has already reached Kage level so he could solve most of the problems in Naruto before it happens. but the problem is black zeusu if he shows his powers, he might hide himself and wait for Ryu's life span to end and start another plan. so, he wants to take role of guardian. he won't get involved too much he will only stop something from happening like Asuma and jiraiya's death

the day after the next, Ryu is in his lab that he made. He is still studying Hashirama's cells, even though he doesn't have to worry about his eye going blind he can't say the same for Shisui, izumi and his uncle. for Itachi he can get Sasuke's eye when he gets the Mangeko Sharingan.

Ryu has found a way to cure them but his medical skill isn't good enough for him to temper with their eyes. so, he plans on waiting for tsunade to come.

getting up, Ryu walked to the training ground. he wants to go and watch the test Kakashi is giving team seven. he wanted to see if they can take the bell this time. He doesn't think so though as Kakashi is already twice as strong as he was in the anime during this time.

Most of the teams are still the same except for Karin team that has her, haku and sai with team leader being Yamato. Sai was ordered by Danzo to become part of Karin team as he wants to use sai to keep an eye on haku.

Ryu was actually asked to become a team leader but I rejected as he has better things to do than babysitting.

he reached the training ground he could see team 7 waiting for Kakashi he still has his habits for coming late. Sakura was fan Girling over Sasuke as he ignores her. while Naruto is by the pouting although Naruto is not obsessed with Sakura, he was still jealous of the fact a lot of girls liked Sasuke.

Not long after Kakashi came giving the same excuse as usual. He explained to them about the test and the reason he told them not to eat. Sakura started complaining but Naruto and Sasuke didn't, Ryu has put them through worst situation.

Ryu watches as they fought, Naruto and Sasuke were able to pressure Kakashi a bit as for Sakura she was just there doing nothing, it was more like she couldn't keep up with them.

At the end they still lost but It was Sakura that was tied up not being allowed to eat instead of Naruto. Ryu could see Kakashi leaving and hiding in the trees. while Naruto and Sasuke decided to give her, some food saying that Kakashi wasn't around. Not long after Kakashi appears again to tell them they pass and the reason for the test

seeing they were done Ryu walked back to the to his lab as he could see they won't be having problem dealing with Zabuza if they meet him in the land of waves, he is not really sure if he will be there.

Ryu's body has already become a sage body. his chakra has almost reached the level of a tailed beast. he has been by trying to get sage mode but it not easy, and the crows don't have a sage like mount miyoboku. so, he is waiting for Jiraya to come back so he can ask him about it.

in the broader of the land of fire, two red and green blurs move at a very high-speed clashing against each other. it was Guy and Ryu having another intensive spar.

the area around them has already turned into ruins. Guy has opened the 6th gate as they moved at speed that most people would find hard to keep up with.

they have been at it for an hour both been on pair with Guy being faster while Ryu keeping up with his Sharingan.

HAAAA!!!

{MORNING PEACOCK}

Guy jumps into the air in a distinctive stance and begins punching repeatedly. The punches are so fast, they are set ablaze by sheer speed and friction which in turn creates a peacock-like fan of flames around Ryu

using his sword Ryu defends against the attack. he then slashes at guy making a flaming crow charge towards Guy while still in the air.

seeing he couldn't dodge, guy opened the 7th gate punching through the flaming crow causing it to dissipate.

"you opened the 7th gate so you lose" Ryu said with as he sheathed his sword

breathing heavily guy says" you have gotten stronger my Friend"

"not as much as you thought if not for my Sharingan I find it hard to keep up with you" Ryu said

'his body can keep up with my sage body it no wonder he can keep up with the ten tail Madara' he thought while walking towards guy

"your body is really amazing Ryu you have already recovered" says guy who is not moving due to opening gate 7 as Ryu was healing him

his sage body lets him heals faster.

"ok let go back" Ryu said after healing guy
