"You used the pupil technique in your Mangekyō?" Uchiha Kazuma asked, intrigued.
He had arranged for ninjas to keep an eye on Uchiha Qiye, so he was already aware of much of what his grandson had accomplished during that time.
"Grandpa, you really should let the three Jōnin you arranged for me go. It's uncomfortable feeling watched all the time," Uchiha Qiye replied, exasperated.
His strength had reached the Kage level, and he had already noticed the three Jōnin keeping tabs on him. He had just forgotten to mention it until now.
Kazuma understood that his grandson was aware of the situation and knew the information had come from Uchiha Kazuma himself, who was secretly protecting him.
"I arranged for them to protect you for your own good," Kazuma explained.
Three Jōnin was no small matter; in Konoha, Jōnin were among the top combat forces. A village was primarily composed of Jōnin, and Kage-level shinobi were the backbone of that village.
Clearly, Kazuma had pulled three Elite Jōnin from the family to keep watch over Qiye. Such an arrangement could only come from discussions among the Uchiha clan's patriarch and several elders; it was not something that happened lightly.
"Let me be direct: my current strength is more than enough to protect myself. Please, grandpa, withdraw them back to the family. There's no need to waste three Elite Jōnin on me," Qiye stated firmly.
"It makes me uncomfortable, and it also means losing three Jōnin's combat power for the clan," he added.
If Qiye were still weak, having three Elite Jōnin around would indeed be a blessing, ensuring his safety. But now, with his Chakra having broken through to Kage level, along with his Mangekyō Sharingan, A-rank Body Flicker Technique, and B-rank fire and thunder techniques, he felt more than capable.
With his current abilities, he was confident that he could defeat two Kage-level opponents if they attacked him directly during a mission. As for escaping, he was 99% certain no one could catch him.
Given his immense power, the presence of three Elite Jōnin only made him feel awkward and constricted while depriving the clan of their combat strength.
"Then tell me about the pupil technique of your Mangekyō Sharingan," Kazuma requested, waving his hand.
"It's a time-related technique," Qiye answered calmly.
"Time-related!" Kazuma exclaimed, surprised.
Being from an older generation, he understood the immense power of the Mangekyō Sharingan and was aware of its strengths and weaknesses.
He hadn't expected his grandson to possess a time-related technique. Seeing that Qiye didn't elaborate further, Kazuma refrained from asking more questions. It was wise to keep some trump cards hidden from others.
"In that case, I will withdraw the ninja protecting you," Kazuma said.
With Qiye now at Kage level and having activated his Mangekyō Sharingan, the protection was no longer necessary. In terms of strength, those three Elite Jōnin couldn't even compete with him.
What was the point of having them around? They wouldn't be much help if danger struck. If their lives were at stake and even Qiye couldn't protect them, then they would only hinder his escape.
Hearing this, Qiye felt a wave of relief. Though their presence had been for his protection, he was uncomfortable being monitored and didn't need that kind of transitional security.
Now he could operate more freely.

### A Few Days Later
After receiving the information, Qiye gathered with Namikaze Minato and others.
"Minato, Kushina, long time no see!" Qiye greeted the pair.
"We saw each other yesterday," Uzumaki Kushina replied, rolling her eyes.
"Really? I forgot," Qiye said sheepishly, scratching his head.
How could he remember such trivial matters? He was more focused on finding a chance to show off.
"Captain Jiraiya, what's our mission this time?" Qiye asked as Jiraiya approached.
This mission was initiated by Jiraiya, and he was the only one who knew the details.
"The battlefield in the Land of Winds needs support. Lord Hokage sent us to assist," Jiraiya explained.
"How much is the pay?" Qiye inquired, curious.
"This is a direct order from Hokage. It's not actually a task, so there's no reward," Jiraiya replied, glancing at Qiye.
Upon hearing this, Qiye's expression fell. *No money?* he thought. *That's going to be tough.*
But then it struck him—the battlefield would certainly have plenty of ninjas, including strong ones. If even Kage-level shinobi like Jiraiya were heading into battle against Sunagakure, there would likely be even more Kage-level threats.
With that in mind, Qiye's spirits lifted.
"Captain Jiraiya, let's go quickly! I can't wait to show off... ahem, I mean, I'm ready to contribute my meager abilities to Konoha!"
