Chapter 1

" ALUCARD give me my wallet!" I sigh at my mom who keeps on asking me things when she have perfectly feet and hands and she could just get it herself. And the wallet is at the table and she could just extend her hand to get it.

"its in the table mom" I said slowly and continue eating my food. But she gave me a look and raise her brow at me.

" I know that's why I want you to give it to me" she said. I gave her no words and just gave her wallet but I already know what that looks mean.

"why do I have such a useless son. Your practically alien in this world. I don't even has the face to give to my friends anymore because of you. You useless piece of sh*t so stop complaining and just do what I ask you too" I already memorize the words that she just said. Like saying that to my face everyday since I turn sixteen is cruel but its true. And even though I heared it for a thousand of times already it still hurt my feeling.

I sometimes wonder why she's doing this to me, she was never like this to me when I was young. I was her star that light up her night before. I was that precious before until I turn sixteen. When she found out that I was powerless and receive no power from nature. that day is the first day she was treating me like a garbage. Like a piece of sh*t according to her.

" bye mom" I was bidding my goodbye to my mom. Well not really saying goodbye I was just doing it so that she might remember that it was my graduation of senior high. But to my disappointment she just continue watching some stupid shows on how to improve you magic mana or to increase your affinity while eating her chips. ' do you really think she cares alucard, that's so stupid of you' I smile as when one tear roll down my cheeks.

"MOM!, its my graduation day! Your suppose to come with me there" I cant stop myself from giving her my rants and expressing my disappointment towards her but her answer just shatter me. ' why do I have a mother who makes me feel this way, why'.

"so, I don't care. Your powerless anyway and besides no academy will accept you so whats the use of graduating" I laugh at what she said. And started to walk away to my motorcycle and drive to the school as fast as I can. I want to cry really bad but tears wont fall to my eyes. How could she possibly change like this for just a day, she was so sweet and loving to me before but now its like seeing two different people.

I arrive at the school and just expected theres a lot of people. I look at the sky before taking off my helmet and walk inside the auditorium. I heared people gossiping when I sat at my sit. It's the usual gossip on how pitiful I am on being a powerless human and how my mother treating me badly and so on so that. People here knows me. Like a lot about me since they found out that I was powerless. And that powerless people are so rare that even some journalist came to me before just to want to have an interview.

�� alucard brahms" I heared my name being called that's why I get up my seat feeling so disappointed at my mother when she decided not to come here. And people started gossiping again. ' didn't they know that it would hurt me more if they keep doing that, such a stupid fools'.

When I have my diploma I went back to my chair and focus on watching the other students. After some students I hear a familiar name. brian mc greggor. My supposedly friend.

" congrats" I said when I bmp into brian in my way out of the auditorium. As much as I remember We were close friends since childhood but just like other people when he found out that I was powerless. He become distant and try to avoid me until I grew tired of our friendship which is obviously wont last .

" yeah, congrats" he smiled at me before taking his leave to go to his parent who has the same look others gave me. Pity.' These people keeps on giving me that impression, why not just give me gold bars and maybe they could help me buy some magic necklace so that I can have some powers or whatever'.

' congrats self your still alive ' I smile and take my leave when I got no other friends to said congrats with. But this time I didn't use my motorcycle and decided to just walk to vent out this anger and sadness. I was praying to the gods and the nature I hear someone asking for help.

"help! Please help!" I look around and found a man hanging in a tree few meters away at me. I started running towards him feeling confuse on ow he get there when it was two kilometers high up there. I look at him and try to use my phone to ask for help or some people who has wind magic to lend a hand when I found out that I was low bat.

" wait a minute! Could you grab something to hold on too" I shouted at him. He was in his mid-fifties wearing a broken glasses. I hear him say okay and that's when I star looking around.

There was nothing here only trees and rocks and some few twigs. I was about to go to ask for help when I notice a bag and found a rope there. So I grab the rope and run to the tree and start climbing up. After climbing up some branches I throw the rope at him after doing the things my boys scout instructor told me before when I was young.

"okay hold on to that" I said and he gave me a thumbs up. After a while we are already in the ground and he keeps on saying thank you. And how he can repay me and such.

"no, no, no its fine you don't have to give me anything" I answer at his question. But the old man seem like he don't take no for an answer and give me a look that I don't get.

" no insist" he said grabbing my shoulder when I started walking away" take this, it's a magic necklace that I bought year a go" I look at him when I hear the word 'magic necklace'. Like hell. Magic necklace cost a thousand of gold bars that's why I cant afford to buy one when I first time hearing about it.

A magic necklace is a necklace with magic stones on it. It has great affinity that's every magic stones has really strong power. That sometimes it can withstand a commoners power. And as much as how good and powerful it is. Magic stones are super rare that it need a thousand years just to make a magic stone that has the size of your thumb. That is the reason why it cost thousand of gold and that is why I cant buy one myself.

"are you kidding me? Your giving me that" I ask. Looking at the old man like he just going to give me a I dollar bill and not a necklace that cost a thousands of gold bars. But he just smile and me and said.

" take it. . . its my token of appreciation for saving me" he said that I humbly said yes. I look at the necklace that he gave me. It's a silver necklace that has blue crystal as a pendant. The blue crystal is like a mirror when I look at it.

The man smile and bid me his goodbye. My mind are saying that this is not true but I wear it anyway. When I finally wore it I felt something. Like an energy that slowly seeps through me.' So this is true magic necklace, I wonder what it can do'.

I touch the pendant of the necklace and started to concentrate as I felt a tingling sensation through my hands and slowly. A combination of white and black appear in my hands started to form like a ball like I intended to. When I think its big enough I release it at the nearby tree.

Booghss.

The loud thug can be heared when the ball energy hit the tree. And surprisingly the tree disappear into ashes and came flying as the wind blew. I cant stop my self from shouting when I found out how cool this magic necklace can do.

"WAOHHH! So this is combination of light and darkness. Cool" I stop my self from shouting again. I felt like this is the best day of my life. Having a power this powerful is just making me speechless. I never knew that helping some old man can grant me this kind of luck.

' will mother gonna acknowledge me now. Now that I have this amazing necklace? Wil people gonna stop from talking behind my back? Will. . . will . . . what ever happen atleast I got magic now and shoot i can now enroll myself to any academy that I want to study. Like moonlight academy or maybe the famous tyrant academy I don't know. And the only thing I'm sure about is that my life is now at the next level and I'm sure gonna survive through up and downs now with the help of this necklace'.
