1 Introduction

Elysia's POV

"Today we have a new student. Elysia, if you may come to the front and introduce yourself." Mrs Smith said that politely.

Today's my first day at the new school. Mountain High School.

I walk slowly to the front beside her and I glanced at her seeing she's smiling. I look at the whole class. With a calm expression, I introduced myself.

"Hey, my name's Elysia Silverwood. I'm 16 and I just moved here from Malaysia with my family. Yeah. That's all." I slip my hands into my jeans pockets.

"Any question for Elysia, students?"

Three boys and five girls raised their hand.

Mrs Smith pointed at the first girl.

"Um.. Hey Elysia. My name's Sofia. I'm 17. I'm the cheerleader captain. My question is, why do you dress like that? You look like a boy. What's your religion?" she looked at me up and down with a smirk.

I roll my eyes.

"It's just comfy. I choose comfiness. Not style. I'm a Muslim but my mom said I don't have to wear the scarf if I don't want to. Last thing, I'm partly Malaysian."

Her smirk disappeared from her face almost immediately. She sat down and the other girls except one stopped raising their hands.

The girl stands up after being pointed by Mrs Smith.

"Hey, my name is Daniela. I'm also 16. You can call me Dani. I just want to ask ; Do you like music? If you do, what kind of music?"

Now that's question!

"Oh, I love music. My kind of music is free and I'm more into Rap songs. Nice to meet'cha, Dani." I look at her with a calm expression. She smiled.

Now it's the boy's turn.

"Elysia, do you have a boyfriend? I'm Matt by the way. 16." he winked and I cringed a little. Not to be rude.

"Nope. I'm single."

I can see his smirk even though he's like, 5 tables at the back. He sit down.

Ugh. When's this going to end? That toad seems like a pervert.

"Elysia. That's an interesting name. I'm George. I'm 16. Anyway, what's your Zodiac?"

"I'm a Pisces. March 6th."

Next,

"Are you using any kind of make up? I'm Ryan, 16."

What kind of question is that?

"Oh, um. I don't use make up. It made my face heavy. Except lip balm and mascara though. I only use those two."

He nodded and sat back down.

"So, Elysia, welcome to our school. Is there anything else?"

I shook my head as a no.

"Okay. You may return to your seat."

I went back to my seat which is coincidentally beside Daniela, in front of Matt and I also have Ryan on the left.

I took out my notebook and my text from yesterday that I got from the principal. It's a timetable.

I could feel a tap on my shoulder.
