A FALL

Clara's mom was excited to hear she had got the job at her dream workplace, "how lucky your star my precious daughter" Clara's mom said. 

"they really just hired you like that, "her younger brother said in sarcasm.

"nugget head, I had a little interview, plus I only took it cause of the $ 7,000," Clara explained to her brother, as she tried to unpack her bag from work. 

"I'm cooking curry sauce for dinner, wash off the work stress, and come have some you can tell us all about your boss over dinner", Clara's mom said.

Clara heads towards her room to wash off and eat dinner with her family. her phone rings and it's her best friend calling ….. 

Girl, what's up how are you doing?... Sarah says 

I am so exhausted, where have you been? Clara responded 

Exhausted? Why, not like you partied, speaking of party, it was an over-the-roof fun time at Able's house party, Sarah said with so much excitement." and there was drama" … 

Clara's heart raced with excitement as she listened to Sarah's animated voice on the phone, her exhaustion briefly forgotten in the warmth of her best friend's enthusiasm.

Haha, I'm sure you had a good time, tell me about the time at Abel's spill the tea .. Clara chuckles 

"One of Able's Friends came to the party with his side chick and had his girlfriend crashing in on them and damn can she throw a slap, show up angry, spilled drink on them, and gives the girl a whooping slap across her face, Abel had to hold her on so it doesn't escalate" Sarah narrates with giggling laughter

"That sounds insane!" Clara exclaimed, her laughter bubbling up at Sarah's retelling of the dramatic events at Abel's party. "I wish I could've been there to witness it all."

Clara "laughed along with Sarah, Girl I got a job !!! in a high-pitched tone and I had my first hour today"

Sarah chuckled, the sound echoing through the phone. "Oh, it was wild, alright. But girl, congratulations on the job! That's amazing news!"

Clara grinned so excited, her cheeks flushing with pride. "Thanks, Sarah! I can't believe it myself. It's like a dream come true."

"We definitely need to celebrate," Sarah declared, excitement evident in her voice. "Let's meet up at our favorite spot soon and catch up properly", I hear your mom calling in the background, 

Clara's heart filled with anticipation at the imagination of seeing her best friend again, of sharing stories and laughter over their favorite drinks. "Absolutely, let's text over a time and date" she agreed, her smile widening. "I can't wait."

Clara's attention was drawn back to her surroundings, to the quietness of her bathroom running as she prepared to wash away the stresses of the day. With a sigh of relief, she began to undress, the weight of her clothes falling away as she stepped into the warm embrace of the bathwater.

The warm water comforts Clara's tired muscles, easing the tension that had settled in her shoulders after a long day at work. She closed her eyes, allowing herself to relax into the gentle rhythm of the water lapping against her skin while she replayed moments from her encounter with her boss, reliving in her mind the fragrance from when he saved her from slipping down the stairs

But just as she began to unwind, suddenly a movement sent chills down her spine. Her right foot slipped on the slick surface of the bathtub, sending her sprawling forward with a cry of surprise.

Clara's heart thrilled in her chest as she struggled to sustain her balance, her hands flapping without control in the water as she fought to keep herself from falling. But it was no use. With a loud thud, she collides with the hard porcelain edge of the tub, pain filling every inch of her body as her vision blurred.

Clara's eyes gentle like the wings of a butterfly open, her head throbbing with pain as she tried to gain full consciousness of her surroundings. Confused and unfamiliar, the room spun around her as she gradually gained consciousness.

Slowly, Clara pushed herself upright, wincing as a sharp ache shot through her stomach and head. She reached up to touch her head, her fingers coming away sticky with blood, and she panicked 

"Clara? Are you okay?"

She turned to see her mother's worried face starting over her, Clara's heart was filled with relief at the recognition of her mother's tone from a distance 

"M-Mom?" Clara stammered, her voice shaking with scare "What happened?"

Her mother's brow furrowed in confusion, but before she could respond, Clara's brother burst into the room, his face pale with shock.

"Clara! Oh my god, are you okay?" he exclaimed, rushing to her side.

Clara was in discomfort as she tried to sit up, the pain in her head intensifying with the movement. "I... I slipped in the bathtub," she muttered, her words fused with pain.

Her brother's eyes widened in horror as he took in the sight of Clara's bloodied forehead, his hands trembling as he reached out to touch her blood 

"he stammered in anxiousness saying," Hospital, let's call 911 mummy, Clara is bleeding, he was panicking 

But Clara shook her head, her mind racing with fear and uncertainty. "No, I'm fine it's not that serious just get the first aid kit and apply some first treatment i'll be fine," she insisted, though she spoke some weakly. 

Her mother gently cupped her face, offering her stillness and comfort in the pain she felt at ease by the touch of her Mother. "We'll take care of you, sweetheart," she said softly. "Just let us help you."

And as Clara leaned into her mother's embrace, the heaviness from her accident faded into the background

she couldn't help but feel a sense of love and support towards her family giving her clarity. No matter what challenges lay ahead, she knew she could face them with courage and strength, knowing that she was not alone.

But little did she know, this accident was just the start of series of event about to change her reality, secrets were about to be unveiled.
